I agree Lucky was never "written" the way he was written the sweet wonderful handsome Lucky this is not quite the Lucky Spencer I grew up with

Lucky was a renegade and I had trouble with him being a cop Lucky was also the "Spinelli" of the day he "knows" about computers this Lucky was re-tooled into a Lucky Spencer I didn't recognize. I like Greg Vaughn he's the finest dude on the show barr none IMO

But they willl only write for their favorite characters obviously he wasn't one of them.

Yep this presents a huge problem for me but alreadly rumors are that three ABC characters are leaving in late 2009 Becky, Bobbie and Melissa...so if his stint is six months like the rumors are floating on the internet this whole thing is making me quite nervous...

How much story will I get in six months and will Becky leave with Jonathan if all these rumors are true....I hate rumors but sometimes they come to pass.

omg i can't believe this. i am so happy right now i can burst. as sad as i am about loosing greg and no offense to him but for me jonathan has always and will always be lucky to me. no other actor has been able to capture what jonathan brought to this character and the chemistry he and rebecca once shared. i know things are going to be different now and things have changed since then but i am so thrilled to have jonathan back i can't wait to see what happens espicialy now that luke is married to tracy, nick and liz are having affair, emily is dead and lulu is all grown up but i am so excited i can't wait to see what happens. to greg vaughne thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this character and god bless you and your family and to jonathan welcome back we sure have missed you.

I think this is so awsome...Although Greg was a great actor. For me...there was no other lucky than Jonathan Jackson. He was amazing as lucky....and I can't wait to see him back where he should be as lucky spencer.

Like someone said on the boards, Luke should bring JJ back as the real Lucky cuz he found out Helena brainwashed GV into thinking he is the real Lucky which explains why he is so out of character.

I am happy, always was a JJ fan. GV never seemed like Lucky, they made him too wimpy.

I loved JJ. He and Liz were so cute. I hope now they do somehing with the character. I felt for GV because they never really let him show his full potential that we all know is there.

Wow I seen it coming because his role got so lame he is to damn fine to be playing such a sucker liz don't deserve him. I vaguely remember the original lucky, so i must of not like him much. I will miss Greg V. Man best of luck and hope to see you soon because you are a great actor I blame it on the writers and the director
