Jonathan Jackson to Return to Port Charles
ABC Daytime has confirmed that Jonathan Jackson will return to General Hospital to reprise the role of Lucky Spencer -- the son of super couple Luke and Laura -- on October 27. Jackson originated the role of Lucky, which he played from 1993-1999. He has also starred in films like Tuck Everlasting and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, and was most recently seen on The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
ABC Daytime also confirmed that Greg Vaughan has decided to leave General Hospital.
From the official statement: "Greg Vaughn has decided to vacate the role to explore new opportunities. We thank him for his years engaging our audience and dedication to the show and network. The cast and crew wish him well in all his future endeavors."

OK - I am just sick that Greg is leaving. He is one of my few faves on GH and one of the nicest actors I have met in person. The only positive thing I can see in this ridiculous move is that now MAYBE little Miss Boring Elizabeth will leave Jason and Sam alone and get back with her high school sweetheart!

I started watching GH back in 1994 when I was 12 years old, and stopped watching mid 2008 because of horrible writing. I always said that only one thing would make me watch again, and that was Jonathan Jackson returning to the show.
Now I have to catch myself up on what has been going on! I am so excited that he is back, and now GH, you have me back. Don't mess it up!
I've been watching GH on and off since 1979 (big Luke & Laura fan), so I am thrilled that Jonathan is coming back. I liked Greg as Lucky, but he was never JJ. I cannot wait to see Tony and Jonathan on screen together again!

I keep reading that JJ's version of Lucky will look too young, but HE'S THE ORIGINAL LUCKY. lol Becky and him are within a couple years of one another. He has a baby face sure, but he's so handsome, and it's JJ and Becky!! WHO CARES! I'm so excited! Writers don't mess this up!
He looks too young to play Lucky now. I think Greg makes a better Lucky! Sad to see him go!
I am so happy to see Jonathon Jackson back as Luke's son. He had a personality that was right on the mark with Anthony's and was very convincing as as his son. I will say that I don't want to get too excited because it has been a long time since Jonothan was in Port Charles. I will also miss Greg Vaughn.
PLEASE reunite becky and Jonathan as the famous young supercouple Lucky and Elizabeth! I have waited for this moment for ten years, and I pray the powers that be and the writers have something awesome scripted for these two. If not, they are idiots. I want this for becky too b/c I can't imagine what storyline they could come up with. I wonder if he's going to be classic lucky or current lucky? Has he been with Helena all this time, or will he just walk right in to where GV left off? I'm ready for a romantic couple on GH, the looks these two gave each other back in the day, I can only imagine what the looks would be like now!! PLEASE REUNITE LnL2!!
