just wanted to comment to donlisa - "Amen" to your comments. I feel like we got jipped out of a great storyline back in 1999 when JJ left GH. Then he came back looking like a boyband member (no offense to Jacobs) & a crazy Cassedine mind control. And after that the character of Lucky just wasn't the same, & I quit watching. Hwever I came back today with the "real" Lucky back.. Sorry bout the Greg Vaughn fans, but I'm sure if you were watching in the 90's - you'd get it... So welcome back Jonathan...

i never thought in a million years i would get to say this but after10 long years Lucky is finaly coming home. No offense to Greg cause Greg did a great job as did Jacob! But for me Greg and Jacob were never Lucky. Jonathan Jackson is and always will be Luke and Laura son and no other actor can compare. Jonathan was the reason why i started watching GH in the first place and i am so happy that he's returning. To Greg and his family thank you and good luck and to Jonathan Jackson Welcome Home you have been truly missed, and to GH what would make this reunion even better is if you brought Genie Francies back as Laura Spencer and reunite the originals Spencer for good.

I have to further my comment by saying that it will be doubly interesting seeing Lucky interact with Ethan and Nikolas. I really hope they write him back down to the original Lucky that he portrayed, the sarcastic wit and clever Lucky (the original one would never have been addicted to ANYTHING nor been and INFIDEL and a PUSS) that Luke or Laura tried to tame. I am crossing my fingers!

I am SO excited about Jonathan returning! I never, ever liked Greg playing the role. Not that he is a bad actor by any stretch, but he lacked the chemistry with Luke that Jonathan and Tony Geary made famous. I wish Greg well, but I am SO EXCITED that JJ is back, FINALLY!! Any true GH fans KNOWS that Lucky Spencer would NEVER have become a police officer. Bad writing, history and casting. I am so excited now.

I nearly gave up on GH. I'm so sick of it revolving around THE MOB. Hello, the show is called General Hospital!!!!!!!!! I rarely watch it. They (GH powers that be) have thrown a good show down the toilet. The old Carly playing Claudia? Come on! Hopefully they can bring back some of the old magic with the original Lucky.

Ive been watching GH since I was twelve, since im 41 thats 29 years of faithfull watching. Since this was before DVR i missed the first 20 minutes for 6 years. you raced home from school just in time to see the last half .Also this was during the time when GH was the rage.. had A " i luv GH" key chain. and had taped off the radio the hit song "General Hospital..its my favorite addiction.." or something like that.... its been a while. Getting back on track always loved Luke and laura and watched lucky from the beginnig (JJ) and what a talent he was and always will be luke and laura's only son. He is truely engaging with all GH cast...I cried like a baby when i thought he died in the fire...would never excepted the luckie's that came after and am absolutely thrilled he's coming back... WELCOME BACK JONATHAN JACKSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As to the skeptics... most have never seen JJ in Lucky's roll so be prepared for a real treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only has Greg done a fantastic job playing Lucky,he's gorgeous! I really don't think Jonathan can step back into the shoes when those shoes were worn by Greg and Jacob after him! Frons screws up yet again! Greg belongs up on the big screen and something tells me he'll get there! I will miss his presence on GH!!!

i didnt see Gh when the original Lucky was on the show so i have no opinion on him..i just hopes he does a good job playing the role cause Greg did a wonderful job too bad his character was put on the backburner for a while...lets see what happens next for Lucky...!

I am saddend that Greg is leaving but I can't wait to see Jonathon back as lucky. I just hope that he can handle having a Cassidine as a brother.

i was very surprised when I saw the news in soap opera weekly. I really don't know how I feel either. I like the mature Lucky, Greg does one heck of a job, remember his pill addiction, and how he went thru such torture? i hope that Jonathon has matured enough to fill "Luckys" shoes. When Jonathon left the show years ago, it was very hard to see someone else in his place, but we accepted Jacob Young's Lucky. And I suppose we will welcome Jonathon back when the shock wears off. I only hope for good things to happen to Greg, and that we'll be able to see him on something new in the future. This is going to be interesting, and I will be watching.
