James Franco Bound for 30 Rock
James Franco, in addition to being the most highly anticipated daytime guest star on the planet right now, is also apparently dedicating himself to performing on every TV show possible. Or so it would seem. Next up? Emmy-winning comedy 30 Rock!
According to Entertainment Weekly, James will be playing himself, and he'll be getting involved in an onscreen relationship with Jane Krakowski's Jenna Maroney.
Meanwhile, have you seen our first glimpse of James on GH? He debuts on November 20th (just in time for Thanksgiving! Finally something to be thankful for besides the sweet potatoes!). He's part of the insanely juicy plot developments this November, which we've handily previewed for you. It's gonna be a wild scene.
Look for James on 30 Rock later this season.

WOW! GH this is a great idea!of having this sexy guy on he was awesome in spiderman and will be great for GH. Gotta get rid of Elizabeth i think all fans agree we cant stand her. Would rather have Claudia BACK!
I think as a student of film why not take the opportunity to explore all mediums of film/drama...I think he's being smart. I'm not overjoyed that is celebrity status will be used to pimp the pets of GH but hey if it helps the ratings move up from #5 I'm all for it....
