One of the SOAPnet.com staff's all-time favorite movies is "Clue," that Lesley-Ann Warren/Madeleine Kahn/Eileen Brennan whodunit based on the classic board game. And now it seems as if Pine Valley is aping the game as well in the wake of Stuart's accidental shooting (everyone was gunning for Adam) in the Chandler parlor. So who was it? Here are a few suspects, but pretty much everyone in town had a motive. Some of our theories are below ... what are yours?
Kendall and/or Zach: Both blamed Adam for the bum heart valve their son was given. And now that they're getting married, it means neither one has to testify against the other. Awfully convenient, don't you think?
David: David's been seething for years as Adam plays God in his life. The straw that may have broken the camel's back was the news that Marissa is really his daughter.
Annie: Totally nuts; capable of anything. And with her new bangs, anything really is possible. But a fairly unclear motive at this point.
Liza: Was she the owner of the mystery gams slinking their way through Chandler Mansion on the night in question? She has plenty of reason to want Adam dead after years of enduring his abuse and watching him control Colby.
Erica: Or was SHE the owner of the mystery gams? She hated her ex-husband for the same reason her daughter Kendall and Zach do -- at the time of the murder at least. Now she's sucking face with him. WTH?
Tad: Tad blames Adam for Dixie's death -- and just because Jesse shot him doesn't mean he didn't do it .
JR: Booze and a grudge never mix well, and ol' JR was angry at Adam for killing Dixie and for supposedly signing over Chandler Enterprises to Scott.
The Owner of the Mystery Gams: We've never been so entranced by a pair of calves in stilettos. Something about them just seemed fishy. Were they Liza's? Were they Erica's? Or did they belong to a third as-yet-unidentified party? RuPaul?
