Chelsea Brady's regular table at the Brady Pub hasn't even been bussed yet, and already Rachel Melvin has been tapped for a high-profile new gig. The two-time Daytime Emmy nominee for "Days of our Lives" has been cast on the third season of "Heroes."

Rachel will play "Annie," a college roommate of Hayden Panettiere's Claire. (Fans will note that Claire is the indestructible cheerleader of the "Heroes" bunch, which automatically gives her a leg up on the inevitable roomie vs. roomie wars of attrition that make the freshman-year experience so memorable.)

And according to The Hollywood Reporter, Annie "will share sleeping quarters (and maybe more) with Claire." "Maybe more"! That probably isn't code for "an iPod charger."
