We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July last weekend! The Bauers, and the whole Springfield crowd, sure did. Read about it here and then check out the gallery of fun backyard frolic.
Plus, take a stroll through Springfield history and visit the "Guiding Light" Finale website just launched by CBS. It's a virtual vault of interviews, videos, and photos chronicling the 50-plus years the show has been on the air. Check it out here.
Now that you're done reminiscing, let's get down to what's up for next week:
Look for Phillip and Beth to share a special moment together. Maybe they'll both reach a level of acceptance that'll allow them to move forward ... Keep good thoughts!
Is Reva's unshakable hope that Jeffrey is still alive a sad state of denial or an admirable state of mind? We understand where she's coming from; once you give up hope, you've got nothin'. And she's now convinced Josh to help her look for her man, so at least she's got some genuine moral support. However, we can expect her to get some devastating news next week. But we just CAN'T believe Jeffrey's dead -- because that has to be the news, right?! Lord knows it couldn't get any worse.
As for Edmund, he needs to be found and brought to some form of justice. We're not advocating violence (well, maybe a solid kick in the pants) -- but a nice protracted trial, Springfield style, would be totally enthralling and finally bring the hammer of justice down once and for all. Next week, Mallet and Dinah will team up to look for him. We hope they have more luck than those other folks whose searches have turned up nothing (except all kinds of frustration!). Also, these two used to be together. Think sparks will fly again?
