Sounds like Bailey is in for some more tough times as a pediatric surgeon. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Martha Plimpton has been cast in a multi-episode arc on "Grey's Anatomy" next season, as the mother to a sick child.
Which will look a little something like this:
Martha: Bailey, you've got to help my sick child! You are my last hope!
Bailey: I give you my word that we are going to pull your sick child through this.
(Later, in surgery)
Bailey: I can't take this! It's too sad!
Chief: I told you not to pick peds!
Arizona: It isn't always easy, but it's worth it when you save just one sick child.
(After the surgery, in the waiting area)
Martha: Is my sick child all right? Did he/she make it?
Bailey: There were complications but ... yes.
(Martha embraces Bailey, sobbing)
Martha: THANK YOU!!
(Bailey looks ruefully over Martha's shoulder, as if to say: Now if only I could fix my own family life.)
THE END.
Yes? Maybe? Anyways, "Grey's Anatomy" returns on September 24th -- with Izzie, without George.
Do Goonies ever say die?

Looks like Martha Plimpton has had some work done. She was a pretty plain looking teenager/young adult and now she looks all glam.
I hate what a whimp they have made Bailey. All she does is cry. It is now the Izzie show. Everything is about sex and selfishness. I was hoping Izzie would die. No such luck. She messed everything up.
