GH's Lante: The Cupcake

We never believed those two things would ever converge so deliciously. Not like this ...

 

Using Dante and Lulu's whirlwind courtship as inspiration, Santa Monica's Vanilla Bake Shop has created a "Lante" cupcake. And on Wednesday, May 5th, the first 200 customers to Vanilla Bake Shop will receive a free cupcake.

 

In case the words "free cupcake" don't already have you gassing up for a trip to Santa Monica, let's describe the Lante for you: a dark chocolate cupcake with a whipped mascarpone cream center, topped with a mocha/hazelnut buttercream frosting and Valrhona chocolate crunchies. It's scrumptious, it's a tribute to one of our favorite couple in daytime, and if you're one of the first 200 through the door on May 5th, it's free!

 

The Vanilla Bake Shop is located at 512 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA. Doors open at 9am.

That is so my intention. I wrote the description down so that I could take it to my local bakery to see if they can make it or even come close to making it. I agree with the eating times of the cupcakes but, the during time might be a little tricky, :)

Cup cake and a glass of wine, sounds good to me...

I've got a great idea for ABC or The Vanilla Bake shop! Why not sell the recipe for this Lantelicious cupcake for a dollar or two and give the proceeds to charity? Or better yet, sell the cupcake for $5 (additional cost for shipping) and give those proceeds to charity? I am sure there would be plenty of people who would dish out the money. I know I would! Then DZ & JMB could find a great charity to donate the money too! I am sure they could make a mint!

The Jasam cupcake-

Red velevet cake with a FRENCH vanilla creme center....topped with a light milk chocolate frosting and red hot cinnamon jimmies....

mmmmm.... honestly i don't think any other soap couple as of now deserve a cupcake besides LANTE.... they are the best couple on any soap by far and even though up top you say "super couple in-the-making" i say they are THE SUPER COUPLE to be!!!♥

Love the "Lante" cupcakes. Can't wait for 5-5 and 5-6. i wish they waited until Dante learned about her abortion. Hurry A for Dante for coming his beliefs and not going with the crowd. Hurrya for Lulu too.

I say everyone find a local bakery and buy a cupcake with similar ingredients and have a cupcake on May 5! Before, during or after the lovemaking! What fun! Can't wait!
