Here at Soapnet HQ we have an ever-revolving door of mysteries and conundrums to solve and today poses an especially intriguing one.
It was announced that late 1980s song stylist and mall tour megastar Tiffany will be appearing on the December 22nd episode of 'The Young and the Restless." All we know for sure is that she'll be playing a "Christmas Caroler." Presumably this will be at the Genoa City Galleria and Food Court, somewhere between the JC Penny and Spencer Gifts.
This news begs a lot of questions. Will she be singing? Presumably yes, since she's playing a caroler. Will that song be "I Think We're Alone Now," her masterpiece? Will she be dressed festively as an old-timey caroler, you know those kinds who look like they came out of a Dickens novel? Hopefully. Or maybe not. We don't really know how we feel about that.
Wouldn't it be amazing if Tiffany was the one to discover Katherine was alive and well? And lured her back to Genoa City with a rendition of "Could've Been"? I mean, the woman sings in malls, why not diners?
We're setting our TIVO now and hope you are too. This is kind of the most awesome Christmas gift we could hope to get.
Are you excited about the Tiffany cameo?
