General Hospital: Week in Review for September 27, 2010

Damian Spinelli, Brenda Barrett, General Hospital

Funniest Moment: Robin falling into an open well in the middle of the woods. Oh wait, that was only funny TO LISA. Because she is totally crazy. And when she saw Robin escape her cabin prison, only to stumble into a hole in the earth, Lisa totally started laughing and giggling. Glad somebody was having fun this week.

WTH? Moment: Carly decided to take a short break from having a complete meltdown about Brenda in order to re-focus her and Spinelli's quest to ruin Dante's life. And she did so by totally making sexy faces at Spinelli and bewitching him with her Valkyrie powers. Carly! Not appropriate! You know he's not built to handle that much sexiness at once!

Best Moment: Brenda meets Sam. On our list of momentous Brenda encounters, this was definitely near the top of our list. After all, much like Carly, Sam shares pretty much all the men from Brenda's romantic past. (Wouldn't it be hot if we ever found out Sam had a torrid affair with Jagger Cates? Or -- OMG -- Miguel!) Unlike Carly, however, Sam hadn't already made up her mind to hate Brenda. Which made their meeting very interesting. They both seemed very uneasy, but it seemed like Sam got more uncomfortable the more she spilled her whole life story. And Brenda seemed to let her guard down a bit, after Sam talked about her stillborn child. Are they gonna be BFFs? Doubt it. But at least for the moment there's one less woman in Port Charles going crazy from Brenda Hate.

well i dont know that much but brenda gets on my nerves the woman is so needy she pushes the men no drives them away because they cant meet her expectations she seems to me she thinks every guy she falls in love should be the one that protects her heart and should be perfect she doesnt see them as human or accept that they made mistakes or they just werent right for maybe because she kept hoping she could make it work and the man she was with just wasnt right for her like jason jax maybe not even sonny i think brenda needs to do some work on herself on the way she thinks about men and feels about her past loves and she that she was part of it too shes needs to learn to be i dont know not so needy and see a shrink she needs to get over it already quit beating the dead horse and sonny and clair are a better pair

Kimberly McCullough and Michael Sutton were incredible this week!! They gave the best performances by far. I also enjoyed seeing Mac Scorpio fight for Robin. Glad to see John J. York more often lately!

There is a poll on should Sam worry about these two women. I am annoyed with the poll. Let Jason have either one of them.He is not that great of a love interest to worry about losing. He can't put the woman he loves first, he is a buzzkill, he can get you shot and killed.Sam has stood by this fool's side all summer while believing she lost him for 5 years. She shouldn't worry about anything. Maybe it's Jason's turn to worry about losing HER. get a grip.

I would love Brenda and SAm become BFF's and unite against Carly and put Carly in her place. Michael is trying to get over being in prison because of his parents and Jason covering the killing of Claudia and yet Carly will not stop doing what she trying to do with DAnte and Lulu. When Michael and Jason want to forget and go on, CArly don't let them. I used to like Carly but now I don't. When she gets over herself and start taking care of her other kids and stop making everyone else misery than I'll start like Carly more. Dante did what any cop should do! He had no conrol over the judge's decision in regards to Michael's fate. I want Carly's plot to end now, but it probably won't until the Oct/Nov sweeps. I'm curious about the Oct's ball? What good cause is it? AIDS or Michael's (head trauma) thing?

I think Kimberly McCullough should have been performer of the week. She was great in her scenes with Michael Sutton and she is fantastic all the time. I did enjoy Brenda's expression on her face when Sam told her about some of her past. I don't blame Sam for leaving it like that because Brenda would only be concerned with her past with Jax and Sonny, but I think it would be hilarious for Brenda to find out what Sam did in regards to watching Jake get kidnapped and refusing to tell anyone about it or help find Jake and in hiring some goons to scare Elizabeth, Cam and Jake in the park. I think that would shock Brenda since she is an advocate for children. Speaking of whitewashing and no one ever bringing up Sam's sordid past involving children, don't you think, GH writers that you've beat that dog to the bone with St. Lucky crying all the time about what Elizabeth did to him? I don't remember Elizabeth crying for months on end to everyone on earth about Lucky having sex with her sister, committing adultery with Maxie and Sam. Lucky and Elizabeth have been broken up since January, so please GET OVER IT. Let's whitewash Elizabeth's cheating like we whitewashed Sam's criminal past, kay?

It's unlike Sam to be insecure??? You must of missed most of 2006 and ALL of 2007. LOL

Sorry I totally disagree with your picks for the week. Hands down, performer of the week goes to KMc, JT and BBr. Best moment of the week was Stone/Robin scenes.
