General Hospital: Week in Review for November 15, 2010
Funniest Moment:Brenda's reaction to Carly in general has been pretty excellent. Girlfriend knows how to weather a Carly storm from years of experience -- maybe she should hold a seminar for relative newbies like Olivia and Abby? Anyway, the best, and funniest, part of Brenda's reaction to Carly has been the fact that whenever she talks to Jason, she refers to Carly as "that girl." It's amazing. We guess that was how Brenda saw her when they first met -- that girl trying to pass off her baby as Jason's. And in Brenda's eyes, she's never changed.
WTH? Moment: The whole extravaganza with Luke and Tracy and Ethan and Maya in Vegas was bizarre, from Maya's showgirl costume to finding out that whole "consummated/unconsummated marriage" thing is a TV myth. But honestly, how creep-tastic was it when Luke and Tracy walked in on Ethan and Maya in bed and then just kind of hung around and talked -- with the annulment lawyer there too -- while Ethan and Maya kept talking about how they did it. We'd say "get a room," but apparently that wasn't enough.
Performer of the Week: Dahlia Salem as Claire Walsh. Poor Claire. The lawyer that nobody loved. Not saying that people don't have good reasons to hate Claire, but to us, she just tries so hard! It's tough not to want her to succeed a little bit. Props to Dahlia, then, for that scene with Sonny where she told him to follow his heart and be with Brenda for real. It's tough to imagine Claire going quietly, but her face was so open and honest, we totally WANT to believe it.

I agree Callie5909. It is dragging on forever. It's the same stuff they have written about in the past. But at a much slower pace. Please have Brenda move beyond Sonny give her an epiphany or some type of revelation that Sonny is not going to change for her. He never has for his children , what makes her think he will now. BORING to see a grown women acting like a sixteen year old about this arrogant mobster.
I agree with your theory about Suzanne but what about taking it one step further, Suzanne being the Balkan. Who says that the Balkan has to be a man. Why not a woman behind the scenes pulling all the strings, epsecially since we keep hearing how no one has actually seen him.
I really enjoyed the Brenda/Carly and Brenda/Jason scenes this week. Carly is a lunatic and I hope all this snooping comes back to bite her in the butt. Again...love the sibling chemistry between Jason and Brenda. I really would love it if Brenda would find out about Elizabeth and Jake and kicks Jason in the behind...really HARD...so it knocks some sense into him and he finally goes and claims his family. Jason CAN protect them. I would be watching EVERY DAY, on the edge of my seat, for LIASON! I love them and miss seeing their amazing chemistry on screen.
I adore Brenda. Her scenes with Carly and Jason were great this week. I am really enjoying the relationship between Brenda and Jason alot. SBu and VMG do have an amazing chemistry together and it plays on screen really well.
I have to chuckle at the Michael and Abby mention. Seriously?? I find nothing adorable about Michael forming a relationship with the woman hired to have sex with him. LOL. Not interested...at all.
I loved seeing the Q's this week! And Edward's offer was fabulous. Glad to see the Q's back in a storyline. Now just add JASON, ELIZABETH and JAKE and it would be amazing!
MISSING THE JASON AND ELIZABETH INTERACTION ALOT ON GH. Bring them back together in a storyline and GH will have my full attention EVERY. SINGLE DAY.

I think that if I could have given a performer of the week award, it would have been to Kelly Monaco and Steve Burton!
You could just see the sorrow in Jason's eyes when he had to apologize yet again for putting everyone else above Sam....and you could just tell that Kelly was trying to find that balance between angry and sad and anger....and then resolution that this was her man and like it or not, she was not going to change him...it was great! We do not get enough of these two!!! I am admittedly a fan but come on....30 sec here and there....too much potential to waste!!!
