Funniest Moment: Maxie flipping out on Matt after finding that "engagement" ring in his pocket.

WTH? Moment: Kristina's behavior on the docks as she freaked out to Michael about college admissions. Clearly the girl is on druuuugs, thanks to Lisa and her "herbal supplements," but it must've been a WTH moment for Michael to see his sister like that.

Best Moment: The standoff with Suzanne at the playground. Carly did a great job keeping little Alec calm, but Sonny made a potentially fatal error when he turned his back on Suzanne. That's how you end up with a knife to your throat.

Performer of the Week: Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo as Brenda Barrett. Brenda's swift meltdown in the face of her son's abduction took many forms this week, from her pleading broadcast to her lashing out at Sonny to her turning to Jax for support. Vanessa played all those sides to Brenda with great skill.

Why We Love General Hospital This Week: Carly threatening to rip Anthony Zacchara's heart out if he talks to Michael again ... followed by Anthony flirting up a storm with her. This is a dynamic we could watch for a while.
