"General Hospital": Week in Review for July 27, 2009
Funniest Moment: Oh, those quotable Quartermaines! Things on "General Hospital" are always funnier when the Qs are up in each other's business. And this week, not only did we get the usual Tracy/Edward/Monica bickering (though we can't remember if Monica gave her weekly reminder of just who owns that damn mansion), but it also brought Alice back into our lives. Where she belongs. Anyway, on to the barbed comments. Tracy kicked things off with some casual sniping at the usual targets, when Edward reminded her of the young'uns he's been gathering to stay at the mansion (and seriously, is Edward planning a second career as a boarding school headmaster ... ooh, spinoff idea!). On the subject of Michael and Rebecca, Tracy quipped: "He's a punk, she's a con." Hey, rude or not, we can't exactly say she's lying.
Edward kept the quotables rolling later in the week, after he and Rebecca were mistakenly thrown in jail. After Nikolas came to bail them out -- and convince Rebecca to think better of her new living arrangement -- Edward warned him not to try to "woo her back to your Gothic rockpile." Edward, we tip our fashionable newsboy cap to you.

I would like to know what show the person, who picked the performer of the week, is watching because it certainly isnt the same one I'm watching. There is no chemistry between Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco, all of their scenes are forced, awkward, boring and down right contrived non-sense. When you have to contrive storylines to justify a pairing, or dumb down a core legacy character to make a useless character look good, then the pairing will and is failing miserably and the storyline will bomb.
Its sad that you have to give performer of the week to a badly written Out of Character (POD) Jason Morgan. I'll be glad when the real Jason Morgan returns and hopefully that is very soon because these contrived crappy storylines GH is giving us this summer is slowly Killing this show.
How is JASON AND SAM the character's of the week that honor should go to ANY other person than these TWO. Jason is so OOC in ALL of these Jasam scene, He was a mechanic can put his bike together and take it apart HAD HIS OWN shop and all of a sudden can't put together a car??? PLEASE. And Sam? We have to dumb Jason down to make her look good. Yeah she can work on a boat but a car isn't a boat and the last time I checked they didn't have the SAME Engines either.
So to me ALL of JASAM CONTRIVED DUMB STUFF DON'T WORK!!!NAH UH COME AGAIN!
So the Honors of best actor/actress this week should go to Carly and Jax. Those two are the ONLY None contrived thing on this show besides Diane.
No Jason is not Michael's dad..he looks like him though. AJ is Michael's dad ..who is the brother of Jason. Claudia is so unfair..she wants revenge on poor Michael..who she practically shot in the first place. Most people would think its karma.
Ok, I absolutely love Jason and Sam together b/c this time she isn't trying to get him to love her..
And well, Kristina is the cause for this confusion..she could have atleast told her brother what she did.
Sonny should toss Claudia as far as possible & try not to hurt Olivia.
Sorry but Spinelli is freakin' annoying..I can't stand his character sometimes!
Jason and Sam fixing the car was the highlight of the week for me, they were funny and cute and when Jason touched Sam's face to clean off the motor oil they were both taken aback and pulled away they're still so uncomfortable around each other which is why I love them...Can't wait for them to finally get back together :)
Carly needs to stay with Jax and give him a baby! We all know who she will end up with though.... Sonny. Is Jason Michaels father, they look alike?
i agree with sam and jason...they should be together. but Carly and Jax is interesting. Ingo is too good looking not to have in a super couple!
Could you please hurry up with claudia so sonny can get rid of her also put back son and carly they belong togehter not carly and jack. Also put back sam and jason they belong together to.
