"General Hospital": Week in Review for July 27, 2009

John Ingle, Natalia Livingston, "General Hospital"Funniest Moment: Oh, those quotable Quartermaines! Things on "General Hospital" are always funnier when the Qs are up in each other's business. And this week, not only did we get the usual Tracy/Edward/Monica bickering (though we can't remember if Monica gave her weekly reminder of just who owns that damn mansion), but it also brought Alice back into our lives. Where she belongs. Anyway, on to the barbed comments. Tracy kicked things off with some casual sniping at the usual targets, when Edward reminded her of the young'uns he's been gathering to stay at the mansion (and seriously, is Edward planning a second career as a boarding school headmaster ... ooh, spinoff idea!). On the subject of Michael and Rebecca, Tracy quipped: "He's a punk, she's a con." Hey, rude or not, we can't exactly say she's lying.

Edward kept the quotables rolling later in the week, after he and Rebecca were mistakenly thrown in jail. After Nikolas came to bail them out -- and convince Rebecca to think better of her new living arrangement -- Edward warned him not to try to "woo her back to your Gothic rockpile." Edward, we tip our fashionable newsboy cap to you.

I do not think Sam and Jason have any chemistry together. Their scenes always seem so forced and contrived. Normally Sam always comes off as totally incompetent around Jason. He is always saving her from one of her mess ups. This was the first time I saw her actually save the day by fixing the car. Amazing that all she had to do was reach down and suddenly the car was fixed.

Jason and Elizabeth have a beautiful love story that has never been completely told. We the audience, were left hanging when they ended them this past Nov. Jason never would have left a shoot out, and went directly to Elizabeth's house. Jason never would have let Elizabeth and they boys leave town without guards. All of this was so farfetched, that it left us shaking our heads in amazement. As for them breaking up because he is too dangerous to be around, this is totally ridiculous. It seems he is not too dangerous for anyone else in town, since the writers have him spending time with all of Sonny's kids, and anyone else that needs a babysitter. He appears to only be dangerous for Elizabeth and the boys. Even the police chief's daugther sleeps in his house. The reason for their break up is contrived and senseless, as it does not translate to anyone else on the canvas.
As far as I am concerned they need to put this couple together, and give them a real shot. Neither one of them will ever be able to move on from one another, and enter into a new relationship without their unfinished relationship coming in between.
The fans of this couple have been waiting for 10 years for Jason and Elizabeth to be in a committed relationship, and it is about time the show fullfills what they have only teased up until now.

I would really like to see Jason and Liz together. They have a strong history together. Jason and Liz have a love story that needs to be told. They have a son together that bonds them, they deserve a chance.
Jason being with the woman that endangered his son twice is absurd. The REAL Jason Morgan wouldn't be near this woman and still go after who hurt Michael. I hope they stop ruining Jason Morgan. They have made him into a POD Jason, hypocrite, stupid, a moron. I want the Real Jason Morgan back.
I hope they put Liz and Jason back together.

The only person Jason Morgan belongs with is Elizabeth Webber. Ten years of friendship, trust, loyalty, respect and love. They share a child together. Jason and Elizaeth are the epitome of romannce and all things a supercouple are made of.

Jason belongs no where near the woman who wanted his son dead, who countless times used his child as a tool for revenge. The real Jason Morgan would never be interacting i a friendly capacity with the woman who committed crimes against his child.

Characters of the week, what a joke. That honor should go to anyone both them. These two share the most contrived, forced, ridiculus scenes I have ever seen. They don't work. They only serve to dumb down Jason and destroy his character with every interaction they share. Unbelievable and unwatchable. Some one better get a clue they haven't worked in the last 8 months and they wont work now either. It is sad when you can give the title to performence of the week to a character who is completely written out of character. When the real Jason Morgan returns, the one who doesn't hang out with the woman who wanted his son dead, maybe then he can be entitled to that honor.

Jason and Sam were the best part of the show this week. They were funny, flirty and their chemistry is off the charts. I am excited about their future. I also like Dante and Lulu. The Q's were funny this week. Tracy gets some good lines. I really like Michael. Alexis confessing to the hit and run was great as well. The show is getting better and I can not wait until Monday to watch some more.

I absolutely enjoyed the Jasam scenes this week. Kelly and Steve seem to be enjoying themselves more than I have seen them in a long time. It just comes so natural when they are in scenes together and I for one have missed that on GH. I thought the overall episode on Friday was good and I look forward to next week to see what is going to happen next.

If Jason and Elizabeth cannot be together, please put them with someone other than Sam and Lucky. Let's see something fresh and new.

I don't like Jason and Sam, would rather Jason be alone, I Like him in mob stuff with Johnny and Dante and I like him with Liz. I wish the show had written for them. I think it would have been great. I don't like the Sam character much. I think her and Jason are to much alike they have no romantic chemistry, I tend to ff their scenes or not watch at all. If I was going to pick someone for Jason it would be Liz the only other woman I liked with Jason was Courtney.

No, I do not want Jason and Sam to be reunited!! I still want Jason and Liz together. Why would Jason forgive Sam for not stopping the kidnapping of his son? As far as Claudia, Sonny needs to find out that she is the reason Micheal got shot!!
