I tried to make myself enjoy that couple, but their entire existence was based on shameless character and couple destruction. All this propping and for what?? No chemistry, crappy writing, zero appeal - and both Lucky & Sam, relatively popular characters, were royally trashed in the process of propping Liason. That is why I could never & WILL NEVER get behind this couple. Any pairing that causes so much destruction better be the best damn thing in the world - but guess what? Liason was not. At all.
I think in the early 2000s, before Journey, Liason had the perfect opportunity to get together & do their thing. But the writers chose not to go that route. Instead, they broke up LiRic, LnL2, JASAM - all to force together Liason. They pulled all this contrived, lame crap with Jason and Liz randomly bumping into each other, ever though they hadn't spoken for years... I just didn't enjoy the approach the writers took. And maybe, just maybe, if Liason had any chemsitry, I might have been able to accept them. Even a little. But they didn't, so it just made GH that much more torturous to watch.

So I am extremely happy that they are over and that Jason and Sam are slowly getting back together. Why? Because Sam is not a girl who kidnaps an effing baby. All that sh*t that she pulled was totally and completely out of character.

Proof? Look at all of her actions/ her personality before the crappiest summer in GH's history started - none of it matches with her actions/attitude around JaSam's breakup.

Sam was never evil, never went out of her way to hurt people and harm little kids. That's the most unforgiveable out-of-character moment for me - why the hell would Sam be harming kids when she had lost her daughter, had been struggling to have another baby - oh, and had little sisters. Sam is compassionate, loving and sweet. Not evil, vindictive and maniuplative. And she was made to be this to justify Liason's own cheating. Oh, make sam a baby-harming, step-dad bonking psycho, and lets make lucky a retarded, cheating druggy. Meanwhile, lets paint Liz and Jason as poor victims, so when they cheat and do wrong - they'll be justified in their actions! What a great idea! Viewers are fools and will totally buy this crap!

JaSam had a love that transcended all sorts of hurdles - it just makes me sad that the writers broke them up so shamelessly, (and LiRic :<) just to pair Jason and Liz. It was so wrong, and I'm glad they are righting that wrong now. It's about time.

Bring on JaSam 2009. And let's do it right.

What a great article and I totally agree... KeMo and SBu have this beautiful ease between them. The respect and adoration they share as actors is clearly visible in all their scenes.

I would love to see Jason and Elizabeth together. Jason and Sam, no way, after all she did kidnap his son. Besides Jason and Elizabeth have a son together, they need to be together as a couple. They look so good. He needs to take his shirt off more often. Besides it looks like they're trying to pair Nicholas and Elizabeth together. No way that should happen.

I have been looking and looking for a way of contacting the soapnet.com on this even typed in the search but it goes no where? just want to know who? Is anyone one reading this that can help me figure this out?

Don't be fooled, there are a lot of Jason and Sam lovers out here. Thank you, Powers That Be, for righting the wrongs and slowly bringing this couple back together. Their breakup was so forced and awful, only for the sole reason of trying to make fans believe the unbelieveable. A lot of us didn't fall for it. Thanks for seeing that and starting to turn things around.

Please, please give this couple a slow and tender reunion, just as they got together originally. The way their story was built, there was no doubt that they were deeply in love with each other. I would love to see that again. No rushed "I loves yous", no sudden uncharacteristic changes like what brought Liz and Jason together. Just weave us an old-fashioned yarn, a wonderful love story, as before. Let them have long, honest talks about where they went wrong and what they want for their future, together. Let them say their apologies and start out with a clean slate. They've been through so much together already.

I can't take out billboards or full-page ads in the paper. I don't have time to write all the time. Nonetheless, I am a devoted fan of this couple. I take the time to write, this one time, in a forum that you may see. Don't discount those who love this couple because we seem silent. We discuss the show with our family and friends or on message boards. We're still here and we should still count.

I'm really hoping that GH can turn around, not just with Sam and Jason either. I would like to see the excellent writing (of late) continue across the board. The recent turn in ratiings was encouraging. I would still like to be watching GH for years to come. I hope it includes Jason and Sam for the long haul. I'm looking forward to the coming months. Keep it going!
