Funniest Moment: Oh, those quotable Quartermaines! Things on "General Hospital" are always funnier when the Qs are up in each other's business. And this week, not only did we get the usual Tracy/Edward/Monica bickering (though we can't remember if Monica gave her weekly reminder of just who owns that damn mansion), but it also brought Alice back into our lives. Where she belongs. Anyway, on to the barbed comments. Tracy kicked things off with some casual sniping at the usual targets, when Edward reminded her of the young'uns he's been gathering to stay at the mansion (and seriously, is Edward planning a second career as a boarding school headmaster ... ooh, spinoff idea!). On the subject of Michael and Rebecca, Tracy quipped: "He's a punk, she's a con." Hey, rude or not, we can't exactly say she's lying.
Edward kept the quotables rolling later in the week, after he and Rebecca were mistakenly thrown in jail. After Nikolas came to bail them out -- and convince Rebecca to think better of her new living arrangement -- Edward warned him not to try to "woo her back to your Gothic rockpile." Edward, we tip our fashionable newsboy cap to you.

I did not watch GH last week, and have no plans to watch this week. GH right now is not the same show I used to rush home from work to watch. I refuse to watch Jason and Sam share scenes, let alone hint at being romantic. The Jason I fell in love with would never be friends with Sam less than 2 years after she purposely set out to endanger his son. This is the same guy who refused to forgive Robin for almost a decade, and all she did was tell the truth about something. Jason considered that a betrayal. But yet he is going to welcome Sam into his life like nothing happened? It sickens me how they have dumbed down Jason. Last week the former mechanic couldn't even fix the truck. Yet Sam-who has no training what so ever on mechanics/fixing automobiles- was able to fix the truck. Hope you enjoy those low ratings GH. Until you learn to respect the character's history and integrity, until you stop with the re-writes and dumbing down characters, until you stop with the newbies, GH will continue to fall.
I am totally disappointed in GH for ruining the character of Jason Morgan by having him chasing around with the woman who is willing to harm children, including his own. And soapnet, can we fans of Jason and Elizabeth get some of that gushing for Jason to be with the woman he loves and the mother of his child? Rebecca Herbst is a wonderful actress!
Jason and Sam should not even be reconsidered. Supercouple they were not. Sam latched on to Jason because Sonny didnt want her period. I have stuck with the show through it all several couples that I dont like but the point when the writers, producers and executives believe the viewers are just stupid and will accept anything they throw at us. Sam should be trying to clear her mother you do remember Alexis. Kristina as far as I can tell was tormented by her demented older sister for killing people in front of her not her upbringing by her mom.
Nothing says I LOVE YOU, like "I WILL KILL YOU" if you go after Liz and her kids again. JaSam reunion? Sure, but only with contrived BS from TPTB. Jason looks dumb, stupid, inept, boring and the worst Mob enforcer and father on the planet, by having the boil on his behind who taunted him with the fact that his son was missing and then hired armed thugs to terrorize a baby, his brother and mother in the park.
You are sooooooooooooo right
You are soooooo right
GH has been improving a lot lately. Love seeing more Qs, Love the new kids, and I love seeing Sam and Jason!!
Kelly and Steve have great chemistry and their the #1 couple on GH!! Thanks to TPTB for bringing my favorite couple together again!
I'm sorry but I do NOT see any chemistry between Jason and Sam if the show continues down this path it will get canceled. I'm expected to believe that Jason would forgive a woman who's endangered his own son twice over and betrayed him? I'm supposed to believe he gave up his own son cause of the "danger" yet is running around cleaning up messes of Michael and Kristina and willing to make sacrifices for them and giving out fatherly advice? Please stop insulting my intelligence. Jason Morgan would never do things so contradictory and hypocritical to his character.
I don't see the sparks or any reconnection between Jason and Sam everything for me is coming of forced and awkward. I'm getting tired of the redundancy of these two, it's boring and unoriginal. Jason running around and Sam gets in trouble and makes a bigger mess of things and Jason has to run to save her. Been there done that. That's pretty much all there is to them and it's not "sizzling" or "hot" it's a bunch of forced moments and awkward tension. I mean put them back together and where does it go? What's left to tell? Eating more chinese food and having a shooting contest? That ship has sailed they've had their story I wish the show would move on from them.
There is nowhere left to take these two, Jason Morgan is a grown man and it's time he grows up and goes after the woman he loves Elizabeth Webber and his son. It's a complete joke to have him running around with the same woman who betrayed him and hanging around everyone he's close to when he said time and time again his life is "dangerous" and he can't be around anyone. It's the careless sloppy writing that really bothers me and the inconsistency in story telling and constant history re-writes that's like a slap in the face to viewers. Oh yeah and the constant propping of useless flat characters that drives me nuts, the show continuously does it by re-writing history and lame plot points just to make the "story" or character work with no regards to fans who've been watching the show for years like me. I miss the GH I used to run home to make sure I didn't miss, now it's the show I make sure to miss. Very sad.
The Jason and sam TRYING(so not happening) to reconnect storyline is nothing but agenda driven, contrived BS storyline. The whitewashing of the sam character has done nothing but ruin some very good characters(Jason, Alexis, for example) to make her look good. The scenes between Jason and sam look forced, Jason looks bored and annoyed, they have absolutely no chemistry what so ever. Please stop ruining other (very talenented and great) characters just to pimp your "IT" girl.
All I have to say to those "Fair Weather" fans, you know those of you who are going to stop watching your show because of one couple being on there, is BUH BYE! Shows don't need fickle fans. I personally had to watch that same freaking conversation between Jason and Liz for how long? So suck it up and deal. If you like a show, you like a show, not just one couple. There are other people on the show!
As for the people who keep harping on Sam's actions, and how we would have ,and I quote, 'marked her for death' if it had been Liz. Gah, get a new arguement already. How come the fact that LIZ cheated on both of her husbands, ending up with not 1 but 2 ONS babies, and she still the saint who can do no wrong?
I am in no way condoning either actions, but neither is a freaking princess. And one last time in case you missed it in my last comment, "ITS A SOAP!" Translation: Couples are never happy for long, and crap happens that would never happen in real life! DEAL!
