Funniest Moment: Spinelli's been in kind of a dark place lately, what with plotting revenge against Dante and all. So it was a nice change of pace to see him back to what he does best: goofily making powerful people uncomfortable and making up nicknames. Theo Hoffman, you may secretly be known as "The Balkan," but Spinelli has now also dubbed you "The Bald Bloviator" (and/or "The Bombastic Braggart).
WTH? Moment: You guys! We were JUST getting used to Ali! She was really levelheaded about the whole failed-matchmaking with Michael thing. And Kristina could use a low-drama friend, for sure. And now, just as we were starting to like her, she's a casualty of the bus crash. Cruel world!
Best Moment: The bus crash. We loved how the bus crash made for some unlikely heroes. In particular, Steve, Michael, and Molly stepped up when the chips were down. And then after they were rescued, we got some really amazing scenes between Dante and his mom. We're so happy Olivia made it through!

Finally a scene with Jason/Liz/Jake. Its like the last few years of watching Jason with sam have been like the Twilight zone to me. Its completely lackluster, and its like pairing was being forced down our throats. Just because the writing of Liz's character has been awful, does not mean jason/liz do not have true chemistry. Even back in 2000 and longer, watch old you tube clips and you can see that she always was the only person he was most natural and protective of.
totally agree with you AndiLeighAnne
I just have to say again it was so wonderful to see Jason and Elizabeth in a scene together. This couple is my all time favorite. They have always had feelings for each other...way before Jake. Jake was just an added bonus to their love story. This show made a HUGE mistake by breaking up this fan favorite pairing. I hope there are great things coming for Jason and Elizabeth in this new year. I will definitely tune in to see it.
I for one love JaSam, and keep them togather please. Also liked see Jason playing w/his son. Diane and Spinelli too funny. Liz needs a new love in her life. Lucky and Liz better as co-parents then married. Not sure about Nik and Brooklyn. Mya and Ethan boriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig. No chemistry at all.
I actually watched GH for this week, 3 episodes. I really enjoyed the Jason and Jake scenes the most. I know some say that Jason was with Liz only because he was hurt. Jason and Liz have history who is to say that he did not still harbor some feelings for her. I also enjoyed seeing Jason and Elizabeth in the same scenes for a change. Yes I stopped watching the show in Nov 2008. I found the direction that the show took disturbing so I chose to tune into other soaps. I am not going to get into any fan wars because to me it does not get me what I want which is a good story with Jason, Liz and Jake. I truly hope that 2011 brings good stories and romance back to GH. I really do want to come back as a fan who watches the show on a regular bases. The Jason/Jake scenes were beautiful and what drew me back for this week. Excellent job GH I hope you will bring back the pairing if Jason and Elizabeth who is this fan's favorite.
Happy to see more Elizabeth this week. She was wonderful. Hope to see much more of her. I have really missed my favorite character. Hasn't been much reason for me to watch lately so I have been watching much less. I loved seeing Elizabeth, Jake, and Jason. Sweet, poignant scenes. You have gold with this family; it absolutely amazes me that Genveral Hospital has chosen to ignore it. Hopefully that will change but the scenes were wonderful. I also loved the scenes with Cameron and Jake, Liz and Lucky. Those kids are adorable. Best moments of the whole week. It was nice to see more of the cast and less fixation on one or two characters.
It was a breath of fresh air seeing Jason, Elizabeth, and Jake together. Jason and Elizabeth have so much chemistry that it jumps off the screen. I love them as a couple, and I would love to see them become a couple again.
I liked seeing Steve Webber involved in the bus crash story. He's a great character, played by a great actor, and it would be nice to see a story driven by him.
I really hope the people in charge look at the ratings seriously for the week of December 27-31, 2010 and take a serious look into what and who the writing was for that week. The writing was more believable; it was more IN CHARACTER for most characters (Jason, Sonny, Carly, Robyn, Patrick and even Brenda, etc…) We saw glimpses of the characters we loved who we hadn’t seen in a couple of years.
I for one LOVED Jason Morgan… he was him old self almost and I seriously believe that is because of who WAS NOT on screen at all that week and inserted where they have no place to be.
Yes I am talking about Jason Morgan'is most unbelievable pairing to date, Sam McCall. Whenever she is OUT OF HIS ORBIT the ratings inch up and also the REAL Jason Morgan shines through.
I think the combination of having the writing written so IN CHARACTER for ALL characters and more believable and truer writing for those characters that week is why the ratings FINALLY went well above 2.0.
First off… this is only an EXAMPLE and I know the show as a whole needs to be improved and written more to the TRUE characters natures, traits and personalities.
BUT, the show, for the past two plus years has expected the viewer to accept Jason Morgan with a woman who did what Sam McCall did to him… but the majority will NEVER accept it and has been proven by the steady decline over the past two years. The TRUE Jason Morgan just would NEVER ever be with her again, PERIOD!
To shove him back in to a story, especially a romantic pairing, with ANYONE who attempted (on purpose or not) to endanger ANYONE he cares about, is NEVER going to be accepted by the masses. Sure some will accept it but why do you think the ratings have declined so far ( a slow and steady decline too) since Jan/Feb of 2009?
So many characters besides Jason Morgan (Robin, Patrick, Elizabeth, Sonny and even Brenda) are being written so out of characters the viewer cannot understand or relate to them as they once did. This is what I am seeing by postings, complaints and viewers issues with GH for a while now.
I'm not a delusional person or harping on one item/character but as a whole this show needs help and Jason Morgan's story and character isn't the only reason for the decline but just an example of the issues plaguing General Hospital.
Although I haven't been watching GH regularly lately because I've been disappointed in the show on many levels, I completely enjoyed seeing Jason with Jake and Elizabeth this week. It's so great to see them on screen together again, especially with the long history they have together. I also enjoyed seeing Carly be the Carly we all know and love (and love to hate). While I rarely agree with her, I did love her w/Sam.
Sam and Jason whenSam takes Jake from Elizabeth. He was comfortable with her because he knows she is real. When Jason tells Sam he appreciated her helping him with Jake. You could see the love he has for Sam. Elizabeth need to get over herself.
