General Hospital: Week in Review for February 14, 2011
Funniest Moment: Brenda's preparation for the wedding has led to more than a few unhinged moments. Our favorite was when she made the following request of Robin: "Punch me in the face and make sure I'm not dreaming." Robin sensibly turned her down.
WTH? Moment: Suzanne is Mrs. Balkan! OK, we knew something was up, but how much of a betrayal is this? We counted on Suzanne for straight-talk, sensible advice as much as Brenda did! This is awful.
Best Moment: Max and Milo abducting Carly -- to keep her from sabotaging the wedding -- was a total highlight of the week. From Max nervously fretting over the implications of turning on his beloved Mrs. J to Uncle Luke sitting back and watching it all happen with a smile on his face, it was a delight.
Performer of the Week: Adrienne Barbeau as Suzanne Stanwyck. We may have aired out our feelings of betrayal a few paragraphs north, but we have to give props to Ms. Barbeau for how skillfully she played the turn. Suddenly, her fierce advocacy on Brenda's behalf now seems like barely-concealed rage.
Why We Love General Hospital This Week: Wedding day fashions. Brenda could not look more beautiful on her wedding day, it's true. But how about Alexis in that va-va-voom blue number. Talk about a wedding crasher.

oh almost forgot love seeing Max and Milo we just dont get to see them much and that sucks lol
I'm so glad that some storylines that have been dragging are finally moving along. Not really excited about the wedding because I could care less about Brenda right now. I completely and totally missed Abby and Michael this week, they could have been so cute at the wedding!!!
Well script writers, here I am again begging and pleading like many of the other fans casting our crys to let Brenda and Sonny have a life. I agree 100% with jonel48 that allowing Brenda to be scared or killed in the explosion caused by Franco is too much like the storyline when Lily was in Sonny's life. Let's face it head on, Sonny tried but he just could not love Lily, and I'm still very sad that she did not work out for Sonny and I'm also sorry that she was killed. However, as we all know Brenda has always been the love of Sonny's life, and they have an excellent chemistry history between them. Also, I too truly hope that the storyline will allow Carly with her scheming plots be made aware that the mystry baby does not belong to Brenda and Dante, at this point we all think that the baby belongs to Alexander. Once again I strongly agree that if Brenda is deleted from GH, the ratings will decrease, and I won't say that I will stop watching GH completely, but it will not be on a daily basis. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! DON'T TAKE BRENDA AWAY! AND LET HER INJURIES BE MINOR OR JUST A SCRATCH OR TWO! JUST ANOTHER REMINDER, I HAVE BEEN A FAN FOR OVER FORTY YEARS! PLEASE LISTEN, MOST OF YOUR FANS NEED BRENDA TO STAY! GET RID OF FRANCO AND FOR ONCE LET SOMETHING REALLY KNOCK CARLY DOWN A NOTCH OR TWO! ENOUGH ALREADY!
1st off can i say when ethan came to the wedding and told kristina the girl i cant refuse invited me. i was like YES what a cute moment for them. can hopefully one day they can be together. dont like the whole maya and ethan storyline is boring.
love sam and jason they r so hot together.

OH MY GOSH!!!! Can't believe someone thought Franko is "Brenda's and Dante's Child" GIVE me a BREAK!!! They DID NOT, DID YOU HEAR ME, DID NOT even get together, Dante said he never expressed his feelings to her, which was his regret. He signed the document so no one would ever "challange" Brenda for the child she ended up loosing when she got so sick in Africa. It was the Balkins (Alexander) son's child. Dante was trying to help her in case anyone tried to lay claim to the child, it would "appear" that Dante was the father. Carly is a MESS, someone need's to spank her like the child she is. Selfish, rude, never accepts responsibility for Michael being a mess, she decided to be with a mobster and make him Michaels Father teaching Michael to lie. She want's Jax, Sonny and Jason to bow only to her wishes, she thinks she has first claim on them all. I would like to see Brenda, Sam, LuLu and Robin take turns slapping the the crap out of her!
Please let Carly find out that when she gives all this info on Dante and Brenda about the baby is because it was Alexander's baby not Dante's. Carly is really stupid to keep going after Brenda for what reason is beyond me . Carly has a great guy what a hunk Jax is # 1 in my book put these 2 back together snd enjoy there life with the family they have. You will lose a lot of fans if you off Brenda with that car explosion . this is too much of a likeness with lily his first wife. And please get rid of Franxo . I don't like him to me he can't act.
I have been a very sad fan all this week. B/c early on I could see the horrific way the storyline was leaning. Just like many of the other fans, I have waited long and patiently for Sonny and Brenda to make it to the altar and finally be husband and wife. I know it's just make believe, but I really don't understand why the writers want to be so stubborn. Please don't let Brenda, Sonny, Jason, or any of the wedding party be harmed. Gosh they just finished with the Bus Crash Drama! Max and Milo need to dig a hole and cover themselves completley. How stupid can they get allowing Carly to outwit them like she did. I also feel that the ratings will decrease if the storyline allows Brenda to be be deleted from GH. From my observations, most of the fans feel as I do. Now I won't stop watching completely if Brenda leaves, but it will not be on a daily rountine like it is now. Lately I've been watching all the soaps at least twice daily. I'm a retired Elem. Teacher of 40 years, and I've been a fan for over 40 years. Please, Please, let Brenda and Sonny stay together. Carly is nothing but a stinking, dirty blonde, and a miserable slut! I don't know why she treats Jacks like dirt, b/c he's a hunk of a man too.
