General Hospital: Week in Review for April 4, 2011

Brenda Barrett, General HospitalWhen it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on General Hospital this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below!

Funniest Moment: Diane Miller attempting to secure Sonny and Brenda's release signatures in anticipation of her and Spinelli's book. (Which, by the way, is available for purchase right now -- get your copy!)

WTH? Moment: Luke dousing the Haunted Star in gasoline, in an apparent attempt to burn it down. The man is on a downward spiral.

Best Moment: Carly asking Sam to give Jason a baby in order to help him get over losing Jason. First of all: classic soap logic. Second of all: classic Carly, butting into everybody's lives and trying to get her way.

Performer of the Week: Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo as Brenda Barrett, for her highly emotional reaction to Suzanne showing up on her doorstep with Lucian, as well as her delightfully bitchy fight with Carly.

Why We Love General Hospital This Week: Johnny plotting with his father on the phone. Johnny trying to reform Lisa. Johnny offering to help Michael with the Brandon situation. We don't know WHAT he's up to, but it's intriguing to see that he's up to something.

So let's hear YOUR favorite GH moments this week!

OK I am really tired of Carly. She has alot of nerve asking Sam a personnel question like that. Sam needs to tells her to mind her business. I agree with bzam23 Carly is always in Brenda's face, Carly needs to be put in her place. Only Jason can do that. He needs to tell her to mind her business. Luke is falling apart where is Tracey? Only Laura can reach him. Hope someone stops him from burning down the boat.

First of all, thank you GH for letting Rebecca staying on the show. I am tired of GH letting everyone leave. It doesn't make any sense at all, because not too many people on the show have storylines. GH needs to expand. They need to hire several more actors on the show, with better storylines. Instead of Luke being the prime suspect, they should give him another adventure, because that is what Luke Spencer is about. And as for Carly, if she doesn't like anyone in her personal life, then she needs to do the same and let Jason and Sam alone. And now for Jason, instead of getting back with sam, he should give Liz another chance. This is the perfect time for them to get back with each other, since the lost of their child. Also, I am glad that Patrick and Robin find their way back. And for Lisa, she should leave Patrick and Johnny alone and get with terrell. they both look good together. And last but least, if it's over between Jax and Carly, then try to hook Carly up with Shawn. Carly loves danger and Jax does not.

Best moment you didn't have a best moment because you didn't show Elizabeth mourning her child, as for Carly asking Sam to have Jason baby, that was the worst moment. The show is getting worst, bring on Jax to give Sonny some competition with Brenda and her son. Bring back Olivia since she is the only one you let stand up to Carly. Luke need to find forgiveness it sad watching him destroy himself.

I hope Brenda doesn't leave the show as for Carly I hope that one day soon Brenda will punch her in the face, knock her down and than gives her a piece of her mind. Carly is the type of woman that you just want kick her butt, but these boring writers are always making her the Diva, she need to be put in her place, it is not always about Carly. enough with Carly, sick of her, she is the one who need to leave.

I can't believe the writers just let Carly run all over Brenda. When will they let her get a lick. I agree get rid of Lisa or give her something to do besides lurking every time Robin and Patrick are together. Give Luke a way out he can't live with the fact he killed Jake.

I disagree with performer of the week. Surely not Vanessa...not with the likes of Lucky, Luke and Jason. Her reaction was minimal at best and their performances far, far, out did the DIVA. I would not miss her if she were to leave tomorrow. She has served no purpose in the show since she returned. I know, they got married, so the end is in sight. No one marries and stays happy on daytime drama...so it is just a matter of time. I've heard rumors she is leaving...I certainly hope they are true.
