Funniest Moment: Sonny's surprise party, only for the visual of big, bad Sonny celebrating his birthday with the likes of Molly and Morgan and Kristina. (Also, it led to another awesome Carly/Brenda face-off.

WTH? Moment: Michael was arrested for the murder of Brandon. Seriously, not again!

Best Moment:Sonny and Anthony have a face-off in prison. What a great re-introduction to the tensions between these two mob bosses.

Performer of the Week: Brandon Barash as Johnny Zacchara. Between his amazing face-off with Carly and his deep, character-exploring conversation with Lulu, Barash was really able to dig into just why Johnny's doing what he's doing. He's messed up from a life in the mob, but mostly he's just tired of fighting it.

Why We Love General Hospital This Week: A pair of scenes on Friday between characters we're pleasantly surprised are so close: Sam and Carly (it's always dangerous to assume Carly will ever keep a female friend for very long, but it was sweet to see her be so supportive) and Kristina and Ethan (nice that he's forgiven her for those false accusations of abuse).
