Alexis was EVERYWHERE this week! Just like we like her.

Did you guys enjoy the High Definition premiere of "GH" today as much as we did? The whole show looks so much brighter and sunnier. And we are very impressed at how FANTASTIC everyone on the show looks. Hi-Def isn't always a friend to performers who have to act in front of its merciless clarity. But the "GH" crew looks dynamite. Particular props to Nancy Lee Grahn and Jason Thompson for putting the "fine" in "high definition." Or ... OK, they put the "fin" in "high definition." Whatevs, they look great, and you should read on for our favorite moments of the week:

Funniest Moment: See, this is why we love Sam. In the middle of a conversation with Jason about the current TOTAL QUAGMIRE that is the Sonny/Claudia "Ooops, I had your son shot and now I'm pregnant, I hope you don't find out but if you do you can't kill me now, surprise!" storyline, Sam thought she'd comment on Sonny's, um ... prowess. "I don't understand," she said, flabbergasted, "why Sonny can't keep it in his pants." Sam, we know exactly what you mean.

WTH? Moment: We mentioned this in the Comings & Goings article but it bears repeating: What in the WORLD was going on with Jax's mid-week mustache? Has it always been there and we're just noticing it now with the (ultra-spiffy!) HD cameras? Did he celebrate Earth Day by swearing off running water and thus couldn't shave? Is this a "playoff beard" scenario for his favorite Australian-rules football team? Whatever it was, it was gone by week's end, so the world may never know.
