"General Hospital": Week in Review

Best Moment: Everything about Maxie and Spinelli this week was awesome. Sure, Maxie backed down from Spinelli's proposal like we figured she would, but we've got faith she'll eventually come around. And besides, the best moments this week were what led up to the proposal. Specifically, Spinelli coming up large at karaoke (singing Foreigner! Awakening all our dormant '80s memories!), followed by Maxie falling head-over-heels for him all over again, then taking him to bed (and for real, this time).

Performer of the Week: Considering everything we said above, how could we give this distinction to anyone but Bradford Anderson and Kirsten Storms? Spinelli's at his best when he's vulnerable yet bold, and Bradford rocked that this week; and Kirsten really sold that revelation that washed over Maxie after the karaoke performance.

Why We Love "General Hospital" This Week: You guys, how awesome (and awesomely random) was Sam showing up wearing that purple-and-black corset thing? That costume looks like it was lifted straight out of Kelly Monaco's Las Vegas burlesque show. Which ... come to think of it, it probably was. God bless the McCall and Jackal P.I. agency. It's given us so many random excuses for half-naked same to crash into Jason.
