"General Hospital": Week in Review

Best Moment: The introduction of Martha Byrne as Andrea Floyd. We like it when characters are introduced who we know IMMEDIATELY will make a huge impact on the landscape. The weird thing with Andrea is that, thus far, we have absolutely zero handle on what her character is all about. She seems smart, she seems cunning, and she seems to know a heck of a lot more than she's letting on to anyone. Plus, we really dig that faux blue-blood air she has about her. Where exactly in upstate New York did she develop THAT attitude?

Performer of the Week: Nancy Lee Grahn as Alexis Davis. You had to know there was too much Alexis goodness this week for us NOT to shout her out again. Any week where we get to see Alexis and Diane go out for beers (and a ringside seat for some brawling) at Jake's, PLUS a lawyer v. lawyer contretemps with Max, PLUS Diane floating the idea that Alexis might one day run for mayor of Port Charles? That's a good week, y'all.

Why We Love "General Hospital" This Week: FIGHTING! It was a very, very brawlsome week on "GH," and we pretty much loved it all. Starting with Matt and Johnny making with the fisticuffs at Jake's, followed by Rebecca righteously slapping Ethan across the face, and then winding up with Michael underage-brawling with Kristina's jerky boyfriend (also at Jake's -- the fightin' center of town!). And while it sadly never came to blows, Claudia and Olivia delivered yet another awesome verbal smackdown. "GH" really does seem to be intent on granting our wish and giving us Claudia v. Olivia once a week. We couldn't be more grateful.

What was YOUR favorite moment?

When will this stupid story end? Of course we may all be doing the wrong thing by commenting so much about K and Kiefer. It could make the writers think the story line is good,Pleeeese believe me IT IS NOT. Let Jason end this NOW.
