I am happy For Jasam fans... but after watching the promo I can see Jason is being written even further away from character and I won't watch it. Again, happy for those that like them together, but it's just not for me.

and sam admits to being a con not when she is caught but in day to day conversation..watch some of the clips of jason and sam in 2005 2006 and she openly admits to her prior dealings as a con..not bc she was caught

then I am not sure what screen you are watching becasue he has not mentioned anything about his feelings for liz in MONTHS nor have they really had any scenes together so I am not sure how you can see the love there at this point...mind you this is my opinion and I would be my car on it that you disagree but it is what it is...and Trim53 I agree with you they do set it up for things to get ridiculously heated between the two sides.....

I respecte liason fans point of view and I will not go out of my way to disrespect any of them purposfully but that can not be said for all of liason fanbase and as much as it pains me to admit it it can not be saide for all of jasam fan base either....

jasam fans had to suck it up for 2 years while liason could not decide what to do...and I am sorry that protecting your kid things is somewhat played for me b/c jason is always protecting sonnys kids left and right but he does not stay away from them....and what was inthe way after jake already got kidnapped all of the enemies knew that he had a son at that point so what difference would it make? guard it uop and keep it moving or leave the mob and be with the woman you so call love...IMO he did not love elizabth enough to leave and she did not give him enough reason for him to leave....but I am going to stay a jason, sam jasam fan...bc they are fabulous! =)

Okay I just have one question... regarding the ric thing you mention.. do you not remember her parading around in her nighty etc. with Ric in her attempts to SEDUCE him from her mother? Well I sure do... so yea Ric was wrong but IMO SHE was more wrong because it was her MOTHERS Husband and her 'former' love's worse enemy.... so yea she was way more wrong...
I do not think Liz is a saint but I for sure think she has the high road on ALL of this mess. No she was not right in keeping the secret she did but she did it for everyone's elses protection not her own.. She did it to protect Jason because she thought he wanted to go back to sam, she did it to keep Lucky from the drugs... SO yea I do thiink Liz is more above reproach in all of this than Sam will ever be.
I don't see Sam coping to anything unless she gets caught! Then maybe she will own up to it. Sorry but I have no love for that character at all and the whitewashing that has been attempted by TPTB to redeem her just infuriates me.

I won't forget what she did and I have real issues with TPTB thinking that we actually believe that "Jason Morgan' would EVER be okay with it. He would not if he were written in character...

Nothing Jason has been shown to do in the past few months indicates that he gives a flying flip about Sam and yet TPTB are trying to tell us now that he is 'in love with her' again...

RIGHT.. NOTHING shown on my screen by Jason indicates he loves anyone BUT Liz.

So this whole contrived BS story is making my head hurt! LOL

I think some fans on both sides do get too heated at times. I was around when Jason and Sam were ending, and many Jason and Sam fans were outrageously brutal to Elizabeth (and some continue to be), so I don't think either side can always claim they take the high road. What disturbs me is that General Hospital sets the stage for the fanbase battles, and encourages them. There are ways to write for Jason and his pairings that would avoid a lot of the bitterness that the fanbases feel, but the people in charge choose not to do that. They know what the "hot buttons" are for each group, and they never hesitate to push them when they can. I don't even want to watch GH anymore because I don't want to support a show that would rather create a divisive environment than tell cohesive, believable stories.
