General Hospital Sneak Peek: Week of 1/17/11
It's a week of big turning points for couples in Port Charles. On Lisa's orders, Terrell is trying to charm Robin. Which ticks Patrick off to no end. Will his jealousy prompt him to finally reunite with Robin? Across town, Sam's reeling from the news that she could conceive. But will she and Jason ignore the risks (medical issues, Jason's dangerous profession) and try to have a baby?
Sonny and Brenda push forward with the wedding plans, despite all sorts of treacherous plots and bad omens. Not just Sonny's nightmares, either. How about Carly planning to drop the bomb about Brenda, Dante, and the baby AT the wedding? She'll have to beat out the Balkan to do it -- he's also selected Brenda's nuptials as the right time to seek his revenge.
The Balkan's a busy guy this week, even as far as criminal masterminds go. Once he finally gets the details on who killed his son, he takes the truth ... and tells Lulu all about her boyfriend and his past with Brenda. Is this going to be the end of Lulu and Dante?
Meanwhile, Carly continues her crusade to protect Michael from Abby. So what's she going to do when she finds out Abby was arrested for prostitution? Also, look out for a confrontation between Michael and Carly when Michael finds out how his mom's been going after Abby.
Lucky is still reeling from Siobahn dumping him -- if only he knew the full story on her. Things are looking a bit better for his brother, as Nikolas and Brook Lynn share their first kiss.
Also, don't miss Wednesday's show, as GH airs a special encore episode featuring its hottest guys. Travel back to 1996, as Jason gets romantic with Robin ... and shares his pool-hall tryst with Carly. Yes! GH history, relived!

Bonnie n Clyde died... they didnt have babies. How can GHs vision of Bonnie n Clyde bare a kid? Doesnt make sense. The show continuously sells them as ride n die. No one is safe, well unless you are held prisoner in the pink penthouse, where guns are left laying around in the open (ie Sam leaving her gun out), where g/fs are setting your teenaged nephew up with hooker/strippers, & where the gf set up gun men to scare the crap out of your son & the mother & brother of said son. It just doesnt scream parenting material. It screams desparation.
All in all, no kids or babies for this pairing. It is just entirely to dangerous & the lifestyle just doesnt bode well for children.
I love Micheal & Abby, can`t stand Carly.
Never saw the 1995 episode they are showing Wednesday. Looking forward to it.
I think Sam and Jason should have a kid. Could be fun and cute and drama filled. Why not? Especially if it's unplanned. They would both be so surprised and have to deal with everything it means, the risk and try to learn from past mistakes to do a better job with their child. Not everything should be perfect, characters shouldn't always make the right choices. Mess is what soaps are about and if everyone does what everyone expects, then it woulnd't be a soap. since having a child should be the last thing either should do given the circumstances, BRING ON THE BAMBINO!!!!
YES YES YES Please let Jason and Sam have a baby!!! That would be the best. They need to have a baby together...

Okay, first let me say that danger is ALL around us. You can step off a curb and get hit by a bus...or go on a harmless ski trip and have your bus crash. Jason deserves all the good things that come his way...a wife and a family...I believe he and Sam could be MUCH better at keeping them safe....but they are not miracle workers and not GOD! They will have problems because it is a soap.
Sam does NOT need a baby to have a great self esteem or a life. She proved all that this past two years...and the haters won't let go... she has Jason and that has been all she needs...
Since the summer of stupidness that tore them apart they have grown as two of the most mature thinkers on the show. Sam won't need this proceedure...she is already pregnant...
We will find that out soon...

I am not a Laison fan, but I also do not like Jasam. For them to introduce another child into the mess of lives we see everyday on GH is just crazy. Steve Burton has said all along he does not want Jason domesticated. Jason cannot just say "poof" and not be a mob enforcer anymore. If he quits the mob he has no place on GH. He cannot be a doctor. He cannot join the police. Other than sit around in the PH which Sonny will take away if Jason doesn't work for him anymore, what is he going to do?? If the writers give Sam and Jason a child then they are beyond stupid. Just once I wish they would look at a situation, quit trying to please or another fan base and write a decent story. A Jasam baby will be just another recycled story of angst and the danger and ultimately something horrible will happen.
