So what's happening on "General Hospital" in the month of September? Oh, you know. Nothing special. Only a CARNIVAL OF DEATH! What does it all mean? Who's in danger? Why is that carousel horse crying a bloody tear in the promo commercials? We'll answer all (except that last one), just read on ...

So, for real, though, the Port Charles carnival is the setting for a thrilling series of events that all start when Andrea Floyd realizes that Edward Quartermaine can place her at the scene of Brianna Hughes's murder. So Edward's got to go! But when Andrea drugs him, it leads to him plowing through the carnival in his car. Name a character you love, and we'll tell you they're at the carnival, and their lives are in danger.

In the aftermath of the carnival disaster, characters are brought closer together -- Jason and Sam (yay!) and Liz and Nikolas (umm ...) -- and secrets might be exposed. What could happen that would motivate Olivia to spill the secret she's kept for over twenty years (i.e. that her son Dante is actually Sonny's ... and a cop ... and goes by Dominic now)? Gotta tune in.

Wow, this carnival seems like it's gonna be really cool! But aren't sweeps in November? Wouldn't they save it for then? Or, maybe not, whatever. Okay, Claudia CANNOT kill Kristina. I love Sarah Brown, and I'm trying so hard to stay loyal to Claudia, but it gets kinda hard when she keeps hurting kids. I almost want this Michael thing to be over and done with, just so everyone can stop talking about it. But maybe the writers will throw in a monkey wrench, and there will have been another shooter that night? I hope so, because I love Claudia's character, and I don't want Sonny to kill her. Where's the dignity in that? Anyway, even though I don't want Claudia to kill Kristina, I do think Kristina should pay in some way for her actions. She killed her baby brother, and, sure, she shows remorse around the people she's affected, but could she really care less? Her dad just gives her money to go buy a dress for the carnival, and she's all like "Okay, forget that I drove without a license and killed your unborn son. I'll go buy something pretty!" Ugh, I can't stand her. The Jason and Sam pairing doesn't faze me much. I could really care less if Jason was with Elizabeth, Sam, or anybody else. I do think, though, that he and Sam are a better match. They're both adventure junkies, while Elizabeth is a real homebody. It just works a lot better. One more thing: my villains are coming back to town! Helena and Anthony make the show. They should totally pair them together. Do you know what kind of mayhem they could create? This carnival would be nothing compared to what they could do. Honestly, I don't know who is going to die. Logic says Kristina. Rumors say Jake. Soapnet says Edward. They'll probably just twist it and it won't be anyone we're expecting, like Morgan, maybe. As long as Carly is okay. She cannot lose that baby. She's already had two miscarriages in her life, and this one could actually kill her if it happened. Well, that's my rant. Can't wait for the carnival. Hope it's good, because they've really been promoting it. :)

They have been writing some good stuff lately(some not so good). I love that they are taking their time with the whole Donte'/ Sonny storyline. The scenes with Sonny, Morgan and Dante were great. They are developing a relationship with these three. So once the truth comes out, because in soap kingdom they always do, big brother will go into protective mode. I have always loved Liz and Luckey, but they put them together only to rip them apart. They spend more time trying to keep a relationship together then actually having one. So I say it is time to finally close this chapter in both of their lives. If pairing Liz and Nick up is going to bring drama and a great storyline...well bring it on. Lucky needs someone who is a bit more challanging who is it ???dont know. Love the drama that the Claudia character brings to the show, but can't stand her irrational thinking and behavior. I think she is nuts just like her father. She does need to pay for the Micheal situation though, but not sure how.

if jason gets killed or hurt in any way.i will boycott gh forever, hes the ONLY reason the show is even worth watchin. well my mom says sonny too. but kill sonny's wife ,jerry jax, kristina's boyfriend and put liz with Nicholas. and spelnelly happy. and dont hurt edward hes old, he can run over the major's wife tho, that'd be awsome. oh and let micheal be the one to kill kristina's boyfriend. that be awsome too. he'll be a lil jason.

I think Lucky shud be relieved from his duies as a copy because if he doesn't like a persion (ie Ethern) he beatgs them up. He beat uf Eathan just because, Dante for playing pool with his sister. Please, I don't like the story with the Mayor's wife hurting people and accusing Alexis for going after the (man?) she calls a husband. When is she going to caught so nobody else gets hurt? She I hear innocent people are going to get hurt or killed at the carnival, that shouldn't happen if the PCPD were doing their jobs correctly. Mac is such an idiot, arresting Spinelli just because he wants to marry his neice or even the thought of them together, that is a rediculous story like.

I am excited to see the upcoming shows it has been a little boring the past few weeks. I wish that it would finally come out that Claudia caused micheals accident so we can move on that is getting a little old.

I don't think Michael is Jason's son. I like them just the way they are. I love love Jason and Sam. I would love to see Nick and Liz together I know that is his brother's on again off again ex wife but I've never thought they belonged even when they where kids. I thought the show wanted to recreate the Luke and Laura error continue by having his son following in his father's foot step's. But instead of Lucky raping Liz they have someone else do it and then he walks away from her to find out that he really love's her. I see the chemistry she has with Nick. Lucky is not a wimp he see's his father for what he is and he does not want to live like Luke did. I agree Luke and Tracy are good together. From the first time Claudia came on the show and they paired her with Sonny they have been great together. Her being a little scaried of him but not backing down and him being a tough guy but not with her. Johnny & Olivia the jury is still out on them two. I think because everyone is making a big deal about their age different. Johnny is what in his mid to late 20 and Olivia I'm guesting is in her mid to late 40's because she had Dante aka Dominic when she was 15/16. I agree, Dominic and Lulu should hook up. They could have a double wedding, Johnny & Olivia and Dominic and Lulu that would be a twist. I think Spinelli should turn out to be Jack's long lost son from the women who died when he first came to Port Charles or he could be Brenda and Jack's son, she was alway's having stomach problems and they where always doing it. That would be another story twist and then Carly would have to deal with something from Jack's pass instead of the other way around.

I think that we should all find out that Michael is actually Jasons son. Has anyone else noticed the resemblence? I really like Jason with Sam. I know she let his baby be kidnapped but then, this is a SOAP....I don't like him with Liz - at all - does everyone forget how she thought she was too good for him? And Lucky was such a cool kid and he is Luke's son- how did he turn out to be such a wimp? I really like Luke with Tracy ....I LIKE Sonny with Claudia - and LOVE Johnny & Olivia. I think Dante should hook up with Lulu, the chemistry is great with them.....another great twist would be that Spinelli turns out to be SONNY'S kid!!

I am truly happy how the show slowly placed Sam and Jason back together they have great chemistry and they are a much better fit than Jason and Liz. By the way does anyone know the name of the song that they play everytime they kiss? Great song.

Liason fans need to let go and realize that Elizabeth hasn't been right for Jason since he's been Jason Morgan. Maybe when he was Jason Quartermaine they would have been the ideal couple, but Elizabeth is a mother and isn't cut out for Jason Morgan's violent lifestyle. He realizes it; she realizes it--LET IT GO!!! Obviously many people who post here don't really know the history of Jasam. They were the classic soap opera super couple--ups and downs; triumphs and tragedies. When Jason pushed Sam away after she was shot by mistake when the shooter was aiming for him, she turned to Rick, her step father. Jason was crushed. That same night, Elizabeth saw Lucky having sex with Maxie and climbed the stairs to Jason's apartment to seek comfort from him. Both being vulnerable, they had sex. Hence, Jake was conceived. Jason and Sam and Lucky and Elizabeth reunited, but when Sam found out that Jason was the father of Elizabeth's baby, she was heartbroken, especially when she discovered that she could no longer have children due to the injury she received when she was shot. To be fair, Elizabeth was cruel to her and she was acting out. Elizabeth even admitted that she wanted both Jason and Lucky, so she is not the paragon of virtue that Liason fans like to make her out to be. In addition, Sam interviewed the woman who abducted Jake on her show "Everyday Heroes". The woman had rescued one child from a fire, only to lose her baby. She was racked with guilt and Sam sensed this. When she saw her steal Elizabeth's baby, Sam knew that Jake wasn't in any danger--the woman was a good mother who just wanted another baby. Charges weren't even pressed against the woman. This all happened over two years ago and the character of Sam has evolved so much since that time. She is a better person now than she was then. I'm not sure we can say the same for Elizabeth, but she deserves a new relationship. Personally, I think she and Nicolas are perfect for each other--they're both single parents who share a history and love each other as friends first. Sam and Jason are made for each other--they are both danger junkies who can take care of themselves and they accept each other, flaws and all, without trying to change each other. The writers have done a wonderful job in bringing these two characters back together again.
