What a week on "General Hospital"! Weddings and stabbings and whatnot. To help you get a better handle on such a wild week -- and so we can air out some of our thoughts before the new one begins -- here's our weekly summary.
Funniest Moment: Tracy and Luke's night flight. The sight of Luke and Tracy bickering isn't exactly novel. It's pretty much their resting state. But on a hijacked prop plane stolen from drug smugglers (complete with a few souvenirs left over from the old owners), with an unsteady Luke at the controls, their wild ride got a bit more manic. Tracy's protestations that she's not made for this life (she's more into white-collar crime), and Luke egging her on, made for some classic back-and-forth that reminded us why, against all odds, we grew to like these two together. And since we knew (even if Luke and Tracy didn't at the time) that Laura had returned, there was enough of a twinge that this might be their last adventure together that the laughs were extra sweet.
WTH? Moment: We're going to give an honorable mention to Patrick's cold feet before the wedding. It's not fully WTH just because we know how much Patrick used to revere his bachelor reputation, but even still, pining for his drag racer and then checking in for a last-minute shift at GH was pretty transparent of him. He's lucky Epiphany didn't throw him over her shoulder and carry him to the church herself. But, no, our slack-jawed reactions were reserved for Scott Baldwin's awesome plan for making Laura fall in love with him again. A plan that involved kidnapping, near-constant threats to throw Laura's daughter in jail, a tackily-appointed hotel room in L.A., and finally telling Laura himself that Luke is married to Tracy. Silly Scotty -- don't you know what happens to the messenger in these situations? Stick to overzealous prosecutions, you're better at that.
