"General Hospital" August 2009 Preview
Folks, the dog days of summer are about to hit Port Charles like a brick wall. It's no wonder characters are skipping town, spilling secrets, hooking up, flipping out, and just generally having their lives turned upside down. Just the way we like it!
August rolls in with runaway teens Michael and Kristina on their way to Mexico ... and with two very different search parties on their tail. Jason and Sam are on the teens' trail looking to bring them back safe and sound. But with Claudia calling up her one-time partner in crime Jerry Jacks and setting him after Michael and Kris -- all so she can have her revenge -- suddenly everybody's in way more danger than they realize. Particularly once Jerry decides that Sonny's kids are small potatoes compared to the satisfaction he'll get from going after Jason and Sam. Look for things to get VERY serious VERY quickly -- Jerry's not kidding around this time, and he intends for deep harm to come to our Jasam.
Speeeeeaking of which ... Jason and Sam find that spending all this time together searching for Michael is really sparking some old memories for them. They still make a great team, professionally, and it seems like more and more they're back to clicking on a personal level. So it's really inconvenient that Jerry's trying to kill them on their trip down memory lane.

I am really excited to see Jason and Sam reconnecting and as always I am excited to see Jerry
I am definitely not entertained by yet another road trip for Jason and Sam. It’s been done numerous times this year already. I’m not interested to see them on the road chasing after Michael considering I watched them just a few months ago on the road chasing after Spinelli and before that chasing after Anthony Zacchara. Neither road trip was enjoyable. It's hurting the character of Jason Morgan. It’s ridiculous that he is working this closely with her and even more ridiculous that GH would hint at a possible romantic relationship. You do realize that he did threaten to kill her after finding out she hired men to threaten his son and Elizabeth. And let’s not forget she watched as Jake was kidnapped. Yes, she saved his son's life, but that wouldn't erase all the hate and disgust that he had for her for GH to actually entertain the possibility of them getting back together again. It’s also ridiculous that GH has Jason so focused on making sure Michael stays safe and sound and a part of his life when you have not shown Jason thinking about Jake.
I do want a good storyline for Elizabeth but it’s not a romantic pairing with Nik. I won't support or get behind a Nicholas and Elizabeth pairing. It’s all kinds of strange and sickening. I enjoy their friendship but it stops at that.
Dante is the only storyline I have some interest in. But, unfortunately, it’s not enough for me to turn my DVR back on for GH. Maybe GH will eventually have Jason Morgan back. I may tune in when he decides that his family is worth fighting for.
Joe Reid I am not looking forward to anything concerning GH ESPECIALLY JASAM REUNION
After reading the previews for the month of August I have to say GH will be another boring month. I am not looking forward to see Jason and the woman who endangered his son on a roadtrip looking for two spoiled brats(Michael and Kristina). Why can't their parents for once go out and look for them. Jason should be with his real family(Elizabeth, Cam, Jake). Instead of Sonny chasing around Olivia and dealing with Claudia how about he go out and look for his son and daughter instead of being a man whore. Elizabeth should be with Jason and trying to raise a family with him instead of being mixed up in this drama between Nik and Rebecca. Elizabeth flirting with Nik is gross they are like sister and brother. Alexis should be out looking for her daughter instead of being brought up on charges for a murder she did not commit and an affair she could not have possibly had when her daughter was sleeping with her husband on the floor of her house. Monica should have found out by now that she has a grandson it would be interesting to see how the Q's react to knowing Jake is Jason's son. Patrick and Robin should be having family scenes with their daughter and this show should be showing Cam and Jake with Liz and Jason. I don't see anything good happening in the month of August so I will continue to blackout until GH and TPTB start fixing this show.
