Folks, the dog days of summer are about to hit Port Charles like a brick wall. It's no wonder characters are skipping town, spilling secrets, hooking up, flipping out, and just generally having their lives turned upside down. Just the way we like it!
August rolls in with runaway teens Michael and Kristina on their way to Mexico ... and with two very different search parties on their tail. Jason and Sam are on the teens' trail looking to bring them back safe and sound. But with Claudia calling up her one-time partner in crime Jerry Jacks and setting him after Michael and Kris -- all so she can have her revenge -- suddenly everybody's in way more danger than they realize. Particularly once Jerry decides that Sonny's kids are small potatoes compared to the satisfaction he'll get from going after Jason and Sam. Look for things to get VERY serious VERY quickly -- Jerry's not kidding around this time, and he intends for deep harm to come to our Jasam.
Speeeeeaking of which ... Jason and Sam find that spending all this time together searching for Michael is really sparking some old memories for them. They still make a great team, professionally, and it seems like more and more they're back to clicking on a personal level. So it's really inconvenient that Jerry's trying to kill them on their trip down memory lane.

Than why are u even commenting...
I know that this is a fictional show and the viewers should expect some suspension of reality, but this is too much, even for a soap! I will readily admit that I am not a fan of Jason and Sam as a couple, but all of the scenarios described (for all the characters) are just not interesting to me. As for Elizabeth and Nikolas, no thank you!!!
How many road trips are there going to be this year? How many so-called adventures? When will any of these teens learn about self-accountability and taking responsibility for what they have done? And, what about their parents? Why aren't anyone's parents taking responsibility for their minor children's actions?
Moreover, there have been too many loose ends, dropped/unresolved storylines, etc., in the last few months, that it is not worth investing in any of the stories being told. For example, why wasn't more story devoted to the return of Helena Cassadine? A glaring example is the Alexis storyline -- how could a woman going through chemotherapy possibly have the time and energy for sex?
It seems that the more interesting characters have been taken off canvas, especially Anthony Zacchara, Trevor Lansing, Ric Lansing, etc. These were multi-layered and complex characters played by extremely talented actors!
Like I said, I get that this is a fictional show, but come on!
I love the slow build of Jason and Sam and the increasing time the two have spent together. I have really enjoyed watching these two come togther and revisit the past (both hurt and love) and to work on forgiveness and trust. I like the hesitancy and awkwardness and the slow move to maybe recapturing something magical that was lost. Add some action/adventure a shoot out or two and an evil Jerry and it is a A+++ that I look forward to seeing!
The only thing this preview makes me want to do is NOT watch. It's the same boring drivel as always.
no way do i want jason and sam back together, they don't have the chemistry that jason and liz has together. hopefull sam will figure out how much jason loves liz and move on.
Nikolas and Liz are like brother and sister gross nasty, don't do it This is lucky brother emily best friend just wrong. But everything else sounds cool for august
I am loving GH right now.
Jason and Sam coming together again doing what they do best, looking after and caring for those they love. The pace the show has taken on reuntiing this super duo has been perfect. My Jasam heart melts a little more with each episode. Keep up the good work! Really excited to see the upcoming story with Jerry Jaxs!
The new Dante character is wonderful. The actor is funny and seems to have great chemistry with everyone he has worked with.
Loving the new aged tweens on the show, esp Molly and Morgan. The little guy playing Morgan is a great actor, happy to see him on the show.
Again this becomes about Jason and Sam. Sadly There is more in the article not about them than there is about them. Alas get off the Liason agenda or atleast comment on something beside the same arguement about "WAH We want our couple!"
GAH!
It's a Win for GH for me! Finally a show that I will enjoy watching!
What am I looking forward to in the month of August? Well, based on that preview, I'm certainly not looking forward to watching General Hospital, that's for sure.
I started tuning out in November and aside from an episode here and there, I haven't watched since. I guess I'll continue not watching. So sad when I think there was a time when I would watch GH diligently every single day. I would even schedule my appointments so that I wouldn't miss GH. That was when I still had hopes for a real storyline for Jason and Elizabeth and little Jake. Those hopes are gone now and so is my desire to watch GH.
I am really looking forward to the scenes coming up with Sam/Jason and Jerry! Gosh you cant get any better than those three. I love the chemistry that these three have on screen together.
Anytime Jasam are together it is a good day to watch GH!
Keep it coming!
