Just in time for the season cliffhanger, Wisteria Lane gets a hot new guy. Gale Harold, best known as bad boy Brian Kinney on the Showtime series "Queer as Folk," will turn up in the second part of the two-hour "Desperate Housewives" finale. According to TV Guide, Gale's character is a "quick-witted, charming, and buttoned-down suburbanite" -- who may just hang around. While rumor has it that one or more cast members will die in the May 18 season-closer, Gale may return next season in a recurring capacity.
Gale, 38, may also look familiar from his 2006 series "Vanished," a two-ep arc on "Deadwood" as Wyatt Earp, and a guest role as a particularly loathsome patient in a "Grey's Anatomy" two-parter last fall. He played the racist paramedic who sported a large swastika tattoo on his stomach -- the one Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) reluctantly treated, and clearly wished she didn't have to save.
Even if Gale's "Housewives" character turns out to be another bad boy, he couldn't be much worse than that!
