Friends don't let friends go back to "Melrose."

For many of us, Dr. Kimberly Shaw made "Melrose Place." OK, technically, she destroyed it after coming back to life with migraines and a wig, but you get the point. So why is Felicity Huffman trying to deny us a Marcia Cross return to "Melrose"?

When asked by E! if Marcia should make an appearance on the announced CW remake, fellow "Desperate Housewives" star Felicity said, "Oh God, no!" Her reasoning? "She's done it. She's a brilliant actress. She's on to new things."

Fair enough -- but why not pay some respect to the show that got a person on to those "new things"? You know, with just one teensy cameo as the ghost of the belovedly batty Dr. Shaw?
