Fans Speak Out at the CMA Fest!

Bree Williamson was on hand to greet the fans at the Soap Nation CMA Fest event.

We loved the Soap Nation event at the CMA fest for multiple reasons" First, it was in Nashville, which was a really appealing city. Second, it mixed up two things that we like: country music and daytime. Third, there were lots of sno-cones available. Fourth, we got to meet tons of fans of "All My Children," "One Life to Live" and "General Hospital." We've been watching these shows for years (thanks, Mom; thanks, VCR -- remember them?), so we're always interested in talking to other viewers -- to find out when they started watching, and what they're watching for.

Pam from Louisville, KY (she didn't know the Southern Belles; we asked), is a lifelong "All My Children" fan; she started watching with her mother during the summer and school breaks. She was on hand to witness the Divas of Daytime performance and got Bobbie Eakes's (Krystal, "All My Children") autograph. "I love Bobbie Eakes. She's such a good singer." But who should Krystal be with: David or Tad? "Tad! David's a snake. But he's cute."

Liz from Murfreesboro, TN, was there to see Bradford Anderson from "General Hospital." "I love Spinelli!" She got his autograph and a picture and declared Bradford "Sweeter than Grandma on Christmas."

I hope someone from ABC/SOAPnet read this comment.

I am a annual visitor to the CMA fest each year, along as a resident of Tennessee and always pay to go to all events each year as this year was my 8th year attending.
Last year,i was really upset with them being outside but i got over it,but THIS YEAR?was the worst i've EVER encountered and i'm thinking of making this my last time attending because of SEVERAL different reasons!
First off it was very hot and crowded especially where they was.
They didn't have a tent for fans in the lines to see the stars which make me sunburnt BOTH DAYS but then i found out at STAGECOACH and the country fest i WI had fans under tents and i am ROYALLY pissed about that! Its definately not fair to also make it FREE when all of us passholders had to PAY..they should have made the autograph lines, half passholders and the others the free visitors..to MAKE IT FAIR! it was definately not fair and definitely not organized right.

I'm definately thinking of getting a lawyer to sue ABC and whoever else i have to cause i came home burnt because we had to wait in the heat while at other states fans got under tents during there line sessions and that is definately a NO NO you guys!

I'm gonna keep on this until i get heard.
