It's pretty cool -- and still surprising -- that James Franco chose to do another guest stint on General Hospital. But this time, he's not alone -- James has brought along his real life mom, Betsy, for the ride. She'll be playing Franco's mom, Karen. Which is totally meta and fits in with the whole "I'm an artist in real life and I play an artist on the show and maybe playing an artist on the show is part of my art in real life" vibe that James has going on.

But this got us thinking about some other soap stars who have relatives in the daytime biz. So we decided to do a gallery of it. Note: We're not counting married couples in this, because in many cases, they met on the show they worked on. That's a gallery for another day!
