For awhile there have been rumors circulating that Rebecca Budig, a.k.a. Greenlee Smythe on "All My Children," will be leaving the show. Rebecca, who originated the role of Greenlee in 1999 and played her until 2006, returned in January of this year amidst much hoopla.

A few weeks ago news started circulating that Rebecca would be leaving the show early next year. Rebecca and ABC have not jointly confirmed, nor has Rebecca spoken out, about it. Until now.

"It's true," Rebecca said with a little bit of sadness. "I'll be leaving 'All My Children.'"
