All My Children is in a period of rebirth, of sorts. Or maybe we should say past life regression. That's because the show is really going back to it's roots - character driven stories driven by the people you want to see (Jack! Brooke!) acting the way they should be acting. Any discussion of All My Children getting back to it's foundation needs to include the Empress herself, Erica Kane. Otherwise, it's like talking about caviar and not including Joan Collins.

Anyway, off the idea of a new dawn for AMC we decided to look back on the most glorious ray of sunshine that wakes Pine Valley up every day - Erica Kane.
