Erica Kane goes to Africa!

Needy and starving children in Kenya will soon be getting a much needed helping hand from some of daytime's biggest stars. Susan Lucci ("All My Children"), Kelly Monaco ("General Hospital") and Anthony Geary ("General Hospital") will all travel to Kenya next month with Feed the Children, a non-profit relief organization that supports over 100,000 children living in Kenya's slums. The three stars will shoot video of their journey that will include distributing food and visiting local schools. A trip to an abandoned baby center built by Feed the Children is also planned. Part of the footage will also air as a "Daytime Gives Back" segment during the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards this August.

Okay, the image of Susan Lucci in Africa is kind of amazing. But how about ERICA KANE? Yes, “All My Children” is smart enough to know that basically this is pure gold and will be incorporating this event by having the goddess Kane travel to Africa, undoubtedly to feed the hungry with her glamour and heal the sick with her accessories. Seriously, the situation just writes itself. Can you picture Erica in a tent? We hope she encounters a lion.

Anyway, joining the three will include Montel Williams, Christopher and Kyle Massey and Erik Estrada with a feature length documentary of the trip also planned.
