I am SOOO excited! I can't wait to watch EDEN RIEGEL in action. She is a brilliant versitle actress & singer. YES she played Bianca for 10 years and played it so awesome she won an EMMY! Please give her a chance. I have no doubt that Eden will play this character well and win another EMMY if given the opportunity. Congrats Eden!

I don't like it! Vail is perfect. She follows the rules in her job and comes across as professional. She is no dummy and will not compromise herself or her committment to her profession. I don't know the new girls history but she appears to girly for the job.

This is another mistake on Y&R's part. The must have laid off the casting department and are choosing actors out of a grab bag. First the do a terrible job of recasting Mac. Then they do an even worse job of recasting Malcolm. Still FF whenever he is on my screen. And now the replace VB with ER. WTH Y&R...what are you really trying to ruin this soap. You already tried that when you tried to get rid of Eric Braden. This soap is going from bad to worse with the both the writing and the casting. I miss the good days of the late 90's and early 2000's. Can you please bring them back.

I LOVE Eden!!! I wished she was going back to AMC but HEY!! I watch Y&R too. I think it is odd for them to recast Heather but I believe Eden will rock it.

Are you guys crazy Eden Riegel is one of the best soap actresses around and Y&R are lucky to get her!The Emmy she won more than proves that! She lights up any screen and brings real emotion to any scene. Give her a good story line and you will see her shine honest folks be open to the change and I am sure you wont be dissapointed!! I will bet after a weeks you will be saying how right I am!

What great news!!! "Binks" isn't joining the cast, Eden Riegel--the Emmy Award winning star who made "Binks" an icon--is. Absolutely love Eden Riegel!!! Because of her passionate portrayal of Bianca on AMC, I started watching soaps in the first place! She brings her "A game" to every scene & has great on-screen chemistry w her costars. No doubt she will ROCK this role.

Well, it looks like I'll be tuning in to the Young & Restless now!

I am very happy to hear Eden Riegel is joining Y&R. She is an amazing actress who will bring all she is as an actress to this role. AMC is so stupid for losing her. GO EDEN!!!!

Y&R is lucky to get Eden Riegel. She's a terrific actress. If she can make the dreck Pratt wrote for her on AMC tolerable, just think of what she can do with actual GOOD writing! Nothing against Vail Bloom, this sucks for her. But CONGRATS EDEN. She'll be great and it will be fun to see her tackle a role so completely different from Bianca. Can't wait! Don't understand people criticizing this recast because "Binks isn't right for the role." HELLO, Bianca wasn't cast as Heather, Eden was. Eden is an actress (and a very good one). She's capable of doing more than playing Bianca. Just wait. She'll rock this role.

I don't like it at all! Why are they recasting our Heather! Binks does not fit the role of Heather at all, plus I can't stand the actress! : ( #*$($!

Are you kidding me??? Worst recast ever, or at least one of the worst. VB is very pretty, ER is a dork. VB plays a strong independent woman very well, ER comes across as weak, gullible, and whiny.
