Don Diamont, two-time "Playgirl" coverboy, will be joining the cast of "The Bold and the Beautiful."

Here's a bit of casting news for all you fans of "The Bold and the Beautiful": TV Guide reports that Don Diamont will be entering the Forrester fray as Bill Spencer Jr., the son of (you guessed it!) Bill Spencer.

Soap fans will remember Don as pool boy-turned-mogul-turned-Victor hater Brad Carlton on "The Young and the Restless." Poor Brad just croaked last month after drowning in icy waters (and then getting frozen ... remember that creepy shot?) after saving Noah Newman. Those with long memories may recall that he had a stint on "Days of our Lives" in 1984 as Carlo. And here's a fun fact: Did you know he was the first Daytime actor to be named one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful"? It's true, and it happened way back when in 1990. He's also been a coverboy on "Playgirl" ... twice.

"Don is a versatile actor with a vast range of talent," said Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell. "It is my pleasure to welcome him to B&B." Don's first airdate is May 12th.
