"Desperate Housewives" has hit the magic number. Why is 100 such a momentous mile stone for a TV series? Because that's when a show becomes ideal for syndication! And also it's an excuse for everyone to have a cake because 100 is a round number.
Can you believe this fine specimen of a show, one of the last few breakout hits still on the air, is that old? 5 seasons of drama has led us to where we are now. And while, technically, we're still on Wisteria Lane and that's where we started, so very, very much has changed.
Susan and Mike met cute, started dating, got married, had a kid, and divorced. Bree had a husband die, watched a lover commit suicide, and then saw her second husband sent to jail. Gabrielle was married, had an affair, divorced, married another man and then started an affair with her first husband who then went blind. Lynette learned her husband had another kid, watched that child's mother get shot by Laurie Metcalf from "Roseanne," and then battled breast cancer. Now her son's on trial for arson. And darling, darling Edie Britt who's never met a scandalous outfit she wouldn't wear to wash her car.
