All right, Luke Perry. We know you said back in June that you couldn't "re-imagine" returning to "90210," going so far as to add "I don't see [an appearance] happening."

But we're here to tell you in September: re-imagine this, bucko -- Dylan McKay is a dad. Yeah. He's the jet setting do-gooder who knocked up Kelly Taylor, and that means just as he has a responsibility for his deceptively Steve Sanders-looking son, you have a responsibility to bring those 'burns back to TV's favorite zip code.

They've already set the stage for your triumphant return, getting romantic rivals Kelly and Brenda all riled up about the very mention of you (seriously, the "You still love Dylan!" exchange had us worried we had stumbled into a time machine). All you have to do is slide on in there with your sad eyes and break a few hearts so everyone can move on -- Brenda to "other projects" and Kelly to "hot teacher Ryan."

Before you say no, Luke, consider the following: The writers chose you, the most interesting baby daddy option, over numerous, more imminently castable fathers -- the aforementioned Steve, David, Jim Walsh, Nat, the ghost of that kid who accidentally shot himself ... that's behavior you HAVE to reward, right?
