Daytime Emmy Pre-Nominations!

Adam Chandler, David Canary, Daytime Emmys, All My Children

The pre-nominations for the 2010 Daytime Emmys were announced today. It's from this field that the eventual Daytime Emmy nominees will be chosen. Here are the pre-noms in all six acting categories -- did your favorites make the cut?

Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series

The pre-nominations for the Daytime Emmys are always exciting; considering how many great actors and actresses reside on the shows, it really IS an honor to be pre-nominated. On the Lead Actress front, All My Children's Alicia Minshew has been pre-nominated for her portrayal of Kendall Hart Slater before -- and she'll even be back on the show soon, just in time to celebrate with friends.

One who isn't coming back soon is GH's Sarah Brown, pre-nominated for her work as the dearly-departed Claudia. One previous Carly (Tamara Braun) won an Emmy last year -- could the other two (Sarah, or Laura Wright, the current Carly) get their chance this year?. Guiding Light was honored posthumously with a pre-nod to current Days star Crystal Chappell, for her portrayal of Olivia Spencer. Crystal could go up against her rival for Bo Brady's affections on Days, Kristian Alfonso (Hope). The full list is below:

I think Sam and Jason should both be on the list. They are the heart of the show. I also think that Maxi and Spin have really contributed. I hope they win this year.

I think Steve Burton should be in there somewhere. They probably will give it to David Canary since he is retiring which I think sucks. Hope Diane of GH stays on...Ethan should be on there too. My vote is for Maxie & Laura Wright. I like Anthony Geary but he is gone so much of the time I hope Maurice Bernard wins. GH is the #1 soap to me...

The pre-noms overlooking Steve Burton is mind boggling. Stone Cold didn't just thaw some this year he was warm and fuzzy and even funny at times -- all the right times and often with just a look that added so much to his lines. This should be his winning year for a breakout performance.

,,,and lynwit is right about Diane and Dante.

The only vote for Allison Sweeney would be to get her off of Days.

I WOULD WATCH HIM READ A PHONEBOOK !
