The Phoenix was in rare form earlier this week ...

This week on "Days of our Lives" brought us Rafe leaving Sami (that girl's karma is nasty, we're tellin' ya!), Bo and Hope's daughter Ciara getting kidnapped, and Daniel (almost) getting thrown back in the clink. Kinda sadsies all around, if you ask us. But there were other, not-as-sadies moments that bare mentioning.

Funniest Moment: Salem wasn't a barrel of monkeys this week, as noted above. But we couldn't help but chuckle when Stefano DiMera made like Dr. Evil and uttered this immortal phrase, regarding Rafe's leaving of that "wretched" woman Sami: "You're playing right into my hands, Senor Hernandez ... " He then proceeded to cackle. Cackle! Who does that? The Phoenix, that's who. He has no shame and we love it so.

WTH? Moment: OK, so we know that Kate poisoned Chloe into a coma, and we know that Daniel is being framed for it. Trying to murder someone is bad. Really bad. But 60 MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF BAIL BAD? Really, DA Woods? We guess we shouldn't expect anything less; he seems to under Kate's hiss-full spell. But thankfully, Victor has that kind of moolah (and more) and was able to post that bail for Daniel. Hooray, rich people!
