"Days of our Lives" Sneak Peek: Week of 8/3/09

Here is Daniel, drink in hand, probably contemplating what life COULD be like with Chloe if they didn't live in the city of Salem ... it rhymes with "schmormal."

Lucas isn't taking this whole Chloe/Daniel thing very well, is he? It brought him right to the jailhouse to (finally!) confront Daniel about their affair ... but Daniel goes and adds fuel to the fire this week by telling Lucas that when Chloe wakes up, she'll chose to be with him -- the good doctor -- instead of her current "husband." We're inclined to agree ... but what will Lucas do about it? You KNOW he's gonna do something.

 

Meanwhile, Stefano convinces Meredith that she just has to tell Sami the entire story behind Rafe and Emily ... i.e. exactly how everyone's favorite hunky FBI agent killed her on their wedding day. We know Rafe feels totes guilty about the whole thing -- but why won't HE tell Sami the rest of the tale? What's he hiding about how he could've prevented her death?

 

EJ makes a bold move and replaces baby Grace's cemetery headstone with one that reads "DiMera." Which isn't entirely true, but more power to him. We're still wondering when Nicole's secret will come out to everyone. Doesn't this whole baby-switching ruse tucker her out?

 

All this, PLUS: One of Philip's men, Carlo, is shot in the line of duty, and Abe and Lexie receive some great news about their son Theo.

I have been watching Days for years! I love it. But I do agree that they drag the story lines out a bit. Sometimes they can also be predictable. I really miss John And Marlana. I have always been a fan of chloe's. I like her and Daniel. I also liked Chelsea, I wish she was back on. And for Kate she needs to get caught, What a witch!

hi. i just wanted to say that i'm sick to death with kate. She needs to be punished for what she has done to Chloe & Danial. I enjoyed seeing Lucus confront his witchy mother the way he did. I would like to see him more aggresive in his role any way. But i hope Chloe isnt leaving the show. Shes what a soaps about afterall. As for Nicole i hated her for what she has done to Sami. And should be punished as well. but kate makes her look tamed. As for Rafe needs to come clean with Sami whatever it is because she will more than likely understand. Sami is one of my favs. But i still think EJ and Sami should be together instead of Rafe.
I think Danial and Chloe should be together as well.. They were HOT together. Brady needs to get rid of that woman before its to late. Steph needs to get her butt back with Phillip too. As for Bo and Hope...super boring .

Kate is totally over the top with her way of handling the Chloe and Daniel affair. Sami and Rafe make very good couple they should be together.

I think the way he could have saved Emily was not to take her with him and/or not to tell her the truth of what she had discovered that might destroy his chances in the FBI. Either way I think they were running from someone. Whether they were chasing them or they were just trying to get away. No matter Meredith is lying about something because first she keeps changing her story, and second according to DayCafe after she writes the letter she sets there and pretty much says she's got more to do to Rafe. Doesn't sound like Stefano actually talked her into it sounds like a vengefull plot.
Ari, yep, I definitely thinks it's all about her, Rafe's need to protect women. I think Lucas will discover the truth about his mom and protect her, showing us a darker side of Lucas. About Emily, even the police and the FBI said it was an accident.

big fan of Days hope this Sami and Nicole baby switch comes to a head & what's up with the Rafe thing? Kate needs to get a life stop interfering with her kids lives, but not called Days Of Our Lives for nothing. Bring back John & Marlana miss them so much.

Days of our Lives is famous for dragging out story lines. Usually a childs paternity doesn't come out until 5 years down the road when that child is hurt or sick.

I wish they would hurry and end this ordeal with Nicole switching Sami and Mia's baby. I am so sick of hearing EJ put Sami down and having that witch Nicole on a pedistal. I would like Sami to finally be happy with a man who truly loves her which would be, Rafe. I would also like to see Melanie and Nathan as a happy loving couple. Melanie deserves to be happy.

I like Sammy and Rafe together. How could she go back to EJ?? All the reasons she didn't want him to know about Grace for starts. I too think Rafe is protecting his sister.

I want to see Daniel and Cloe together.

Lucas needs to find someone else.

I would like to see Kate get her JUST REWARDS for her nasty deeds. I don't think it was as much about Lucas as it was her jealousy wanting Daniel for herself. I always wondered what he saw in her.

I would like to see Nathan and Melanie together.

As always I like seeing Bo and Hope together and HAPPY!!

I would like to see John and Marlana back on the show.

Sorry, I got carried away~~I just registered after reading some ot the posts and wanted to put in my 2 cents.
