EJ mad! EJ smash!

This week, the DiMeras are looking for revenge on Philip Kiriakis, and a whole lot of people are getting caught in the middle. Max is worried that Stephanie is going to be one of those people, due to her closeness with Philip. When Max overhears EJ vow to avenge Tony's death, Max has even more reason to be concerned. This isn't good news for Chelsea, either, as she starts to worry that sparks are re-igniting between Max and Stephanie. She's not wrong to be worried -- both Stephanie and Chelsea offer Max the same thing: the allure of your ADOPTIVE NIECE! Sorry, we still think that's weird.

EJ's anger isn't just focused on Philip, either. He's furious at Nicole for letting Philip off the hook. And that's not the dynamic you're looking for as you prepare to walk down the aisle. Nicole presses EJ to commit to wanting to marry her, and when he can't, he storms out.

Meanwhile -- more bad news for Nicole -- Sami and EJ continue to spar like exes who still have feelings for each other. Rafe certainly notices, and he's frustrated. He tells Sami he can't stick around for her if she's still in love with EJ. It also doesn't help Rafe's state of mind when Will tells him about Sami's poor track record with men. Way to player-hate on your own MOM, Will!

All that, PLUS: Chloe continues to have second thoughts about marrying Lucas, and Philip moves out of the Kiriakis mansion and into Stephanie's apartment.
