The big "Days" news this week is the demise of Tony DiMera, who was left clinging to life after a dock-side clash with Philip. Before he takes his final breath, Tony tries to scrawl out a note to little bro EJ. Is he going to spill the secret of Nicole's non-maternity of baby Sydney? That would certainly make Nicole's bad week even worse. After being witness to the Tony/Philip fight -- and reluctant to point the finger at the Kiriakis -- EJ agrees to postpone the wedding. A true DiMera in-law needs to out the screws to the rest of Salem whenever they get the chance, Nic!
Also, look for Tony's glamorous wife Anna to show up and give Stefano what-for in the wake of Tony's passing. She breaks out her slapping hand and even demands Tony's ashes back! That's why we love her. It'll be sad to see Tony and Anna shuffle off, but if we've learned anything from our years in Salem, it's that you can't keep a DiMera dead for long. Until your next resurrection, Tony.
Meanwhile, Sami returns from the convent with "adopted" baby Grace and introduces her to the Bradys. And the Bradys are just FULL of advice for Sami about the importance of children knowing who their fathers are. What a coincidence! (Also, way to be judgy to the single mom, BRADYS.) Lucas ends up getting suspicious (suspicious? Of SAMI?) and asks Sami whether Grace is really her biological child. Can't a girl come home from a convent with a baby without getting the third degree in this town??
All that, PLUS: Bo asks Roman to stay away from Hope, which is understandable given the fact that Roman was sexing up Hope in Bo's disturbing dream (now 100% more disturbing that we know his brother's in it); and Kate offers Chloe a job hosting a talk show. Awesome. We can see zero reasons where that could go wrong.
Who are you pulling for in the great Kate vs. Chloe showdown?
