Looks like a rough week ahead for Philip.

The simmering Kiriakis/DiMera feud hits a vicious boil this week, and some folks are gonna get burned. Starting with Philip, who goes from feeling great (having just had sex with Stephanie for the first time) to feeling ... not great (he gets shot by the DiMera hitman!).

As Philip's life hangs in the balance, Victor sits at his bedside and promises revenge against the DiMeras. Could this have anything to do with why, at week's end, Stefano starts feeling groggy after drinking a suspect cup of coffee? Stefano sure thinks so!

As for Kate, with her son at death's door, she makes a promise (to herself, of course; this wouldn't be "Days" without a character talking to him/herself) that she'll drop all her plans for revenge against Chloe and Daniel if Philip survives. Will she be able to keep her vow in the face of Chloe and Daniel's continuing crazy attraction to each other?

Meanwhile, Melanie allows the kinder side of her personality (yes, she has one) shine through as she helps a badly-beaten Brady; and Dr. Baker looks like he's ready to tell Mia the truth about the identity of her baby.
