Days's Melanie: "I Call Her My Fake Mom"
Things are really shaking up for Days of our Lives star Molly Burnett. Her character, meddling (but increasingly good-hearted) candy-striper Melanie has just encountered Salem's latest hot-boy-in-residence, Maggie Horton's grandson Nathan. And that's not even getting into the flirty vibes we're constantly picking up between Melanie and Brady.
And as if hot summer loving in Salem wasn't enough, we spied Molly rocking out amongst the vampires (or, in her case, the vampire-haters) on HBO's sweaty-hot hit True Blood. She guest-starred on the June 21st episode ("Keep This Party Going") as Amanda Jane, a Miley-by-way-of-Britney Christian pop singer whose new song, "Jesus Asked Me Out Today," was a big hit on iTunes (and in fact, you can download it for real -- it's awesome).
Molly took a moment to answer our questions about Melanie, Amanda Jane, and what the future holds for her in Salem.
Describe Melanie to us as you see her.
Oh, Melanie is just a spitfire. She's way too mature for her age and usually means well, but sometimes just can't help herself and her conniving ways.

melanie, is a good actress, good for day's, hopefully the producers don't mess that up by makeing her nicoles daughter...O.M.G. that would not be good...nicole is a tramp..a slu_ and a who_ _. melanie deserves better then that.
Molly has very quickly grown into a great actress right in front of our eyes on DOOL. When I saw her first few scenes I groaned. Now, I look forward to her scenes each episode. I also follow her on Twitter at @mollydollyy as she tweets. I hope see stays a long time on Days.

On to D.O.O.L.'s: I am starting to not watch days because I am so sick of KATE & the things she is doing,makes me sick! I wouldn't miss her one bit if she died!OR got booted off like some of the favorites,whom I loved on the show. MAX for one. Sure do miss Jen & Jack & also Patch & Kayla. Nichole is another one who NEEDS BOOTED OFF!!

Melanie has a very good spot in the show. You never know what is she going to come up with, that is what makes her interesting. She is a keeper for the show.
I Want Brady & Melanie 2gether they have chemistry they don't even know about,I Don't want Brady With Arianna They Just not right 4 each No Attraction At all.
Melanie is not only pretty, she has a great part and plays
it to perfection.
I sure hope they keep her on there, she adds a lot to the Show.
Molly Burnett is fantastic. Her acting chops are worthy of a big time career.
