Can't wait for Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso to bust out their comedy skillz? Us either!!

Now THIS is some fun news, Days of our Lives fans! Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso -- currently going through a sad separation on the show as longtime supercouple Bo and Hope Brady -- will soon be appearing on an episode of NBC's 30 Rock.

Peter recently dropped the news on soap-centric BuzzWorthy Radio; he and Kristian traveled to NYC earlier this month to tape their guest spot. No word yet on what roles the two play -- or even when they'll make their appearance on the show -- but you can be sure we'll let you know as info develops!

This isn't the first time either actor has appeared on a primetime TV series. Kristian guest-starred (as Hope!) on a 2000 episode of Friends and was featured in a seven-episode arc on Melrose Place, not to mention her two-season run as Pilar Ortega on Falcon Crest, the greatest television series in the history of the universe; meanwhile, Peter co-starred on Knots Landing during its 1988-89 season.
