Don't ask my why, but I don't think David is dead. I think he brewed one of his concoctions to make him seem dead. He paid off the coroner and when the time is ripe he will show himself

I am so upset that David Hayward is dead. I don't watch AMC anymore because he's gone. I really don't care who killed him because whoever it was probably won't do anytime in jail. No one goes to jail for murder in Pine Valley. If I had to guess I would say Madison did it. I'm going to follow Vincent Irizarry to whatever new thing he is doing. I heard he was going to NCIS or CSI. I will be looking for him there or whatever other soap he may show up in. As for All My Children, I've had enough.

I don't beleive he is dead. He is still alive, and another one of his twisted plots to get even with Greenlee and Ryan. He will be back , and I can't wait to see him. I love to hate him! :)

idk what to say, david being dead is too good to be true, especially considering the kind of wise guy he is, he probably will come back in a few years. but if he really is dead there are quite a few suspects and i think madison is one of them. she suddenly disappeared and no one seems to notice

Even if they film the autopsy, you'll never convince the hard core fans that he's really "gone for good"... He'll turn up in a couple of years as his own twin or whatever... Come on writers, do you really think Scott and JR are going to fill the big hole left by Adam as the guy we love to hate?

If only it were true that David has been written out of the program permnently!!! He injected himself with the contents of the vials which simulates death. Both the mayor and the medical examiner are in on it so that he doesn't accidentally have an autopsy. His remains will be "cremated". Greenlee will go to jail for causing Erica's plane to crash; Ryan will be convicted of David's murder and David will have his ultimate revenge. In the meantime, David will have his appearance, voice and identity changed and return to the program with a whole new bag of evil as soon as they recast his part with someone whose ego fits through the door.

The powers to be have pulled so may stunts all for the sake of ratings that we probably won't know for months if he is really dead after all did they not pull this with him already? If not here then on his cross over apperances. If it is true then where as Maddison been? After all she has history of this. Perhaps she thought if this were to end then maybe Ryan would be hers
